I’ve been reading Jack. (http://jack.keenspace.com)
Lets say for the sake of the matter that God exists, and that there really is a heaven and there really is a hell.
Now, god comes out of the clouds and bitch slaps you straight to the fiery pit. Assuming Hell is a place where the sinful receive fitting punishments, what would yours be?
Now, on the other hand, lets say you’re the greatest person to walk the earth since Jesus himself. God rolls out the red carpet and The Jefferson’s theme music plays as you walk upward into the heavenly plain. Assuming Heaven is a place where you are allowed to live out your wishes in a perfect world, what would yours be like?
Note: I am not starting a debate on the nature of sin or what is right and what is wrong, this is just an amusing little question I thought up instead of doing my homework. Please, please, PLEASE, don’t start something on God and Christianity and whatnot.
Myself in hell, I would be forced to sit and do various tasks of mindless tedium. Math work, cleaning windows, and raking leaves from a tree that never stops shedding.
Myself in heaven, I would have a sword that could manifest into any weapon I fancied at the moment. Videogames are so realistic you can’t tell the difference between them and reality, and I finally have my army of homosexual werewolves! And I won’t say anything more for I fear that God (LycanthropicHowl) Really WILL bitch slap me to eternal damnation.

It's funny that you should bring this up Wray, I was having this conversation with AdamWolf the other day about hell.
For instance, if there is a hell, how is one punished for their actions and sins? Does a person who kills someone get the same punishment that someone who just committed adultery?
Are some sins punished lightly while others are more harsh? I mean think about a kid that steals things through life and never harms anyone and he is punished the same as a serial rapist/murderer, then it seems rather unfair.
And does heaven have different levels. I mean lets say you lived a good life but you did sin. Does that mean that although you are in heaven you don't get all that you want while those that sinned less get more?
Not that I believe in heaven or hell really.
Johnen Vasquez who does Invader Zim and also my favorite comic Johnny the Homicidal Maniac portrays heaven as a bunch of people doing nothing and hell as having all the fun and theme parks.

Hell as described in initial post:
I'd be forced to manual labour.
Heaven as described in initial post:
None. My only ambitions or wishes for a perfect life: to kiss my girlfriend.. which I can't do if dead.. To publish a novel.. which I can't do if dead. If my wish could affect the living: then to help out my family in those small ways.
Heaven as described in christianity:
This would be torture for me, my wish: to leave.
Hell as described in christianity:
Ah the perfect home! My wish: Nothing, I'd be perfectly fine.
I mean no offence to christianity, this is merely my opinion and nothing more.

And Darkwolf, I mean heaven as a perfect place. Your girlfriend could be there if you really wanted her to be.
Well, my hell would probably be.. Being drowned, brought back, drowned, brought back, With rap music playing in the backround for the rest of time..
My heaven would be.. being in a room where any food I wanted would appear, And I could never get full..
And A T.V. With super high tech godly mega-sonic bass boost satilite cable.

And Darkwolf, I mean heaven as a perfect place. Your girlfriend could be there if you really wanted her to be.
If the real thing: That would mean killing her before her time, and denying her the life she should have is too selfish (a sin, which would basically mean I wouldn't be able to stay in heaven).
If a false "clone": It would be empty and more of an insult.
Perfection is perfection's downfall.. what makes us more of who we are is our flaws.

You could wait until she died, then you guys could be together forever, but if you went to hell then you would probably never see her again, I would think the wait would be worth it.
Hell- this world in black and white, no sounds, no art, no TV or videogames, no dreams, or imagination. There's people but they don't even see you, they can't even see each other, and you do endless, meaningless assignments.
Heaven- the ability to create, shape, and remove things in the environment around me (like those holodecks in Star Trek) that and to be with my loved ones.
If someone you loved went to hell and you went to heaven do you thing God would let them in heaven just so you could be happy?

Actually DW in the version of heaven that Wray is referring to, the people that would make it heaven for you are there. To you there is no time spent without them for when you get there they are already there. It's some kind of heavenly temporal loop that enables your girlfriend or beloved to be there with you and live out there own time on earth. I don't quite understand it but then again it is a comic.
This is the basis on which Wray is questioning heaven and hell.
It's an interesting comic, I have been reading it forever.

In hell, I'd do math work every other year. The rest of the time would be forced to walk around a scorching desert without any water. Through all of this, I'd be forced to listen to all that music I've grown to hate over the years (mainly country.) Assuming Satan would look like our worst torturers, Satan would appear as my Algebra teacher, Mrs. Mears.
Heaven, I'd be able to live those great video games and books I've read and played over the years (as whatever character I wanted to be). I'd have the option of changing music to whatever I wanted and it would play constantly on an endless loop until I changed it. I'd have god like powers and loads upon loads of women that would obey my every whim (succubi, weres, regular humans, vampires and anything else i can think of).

My heaven would give me the ability to shape and form the world any way I wish, I could change any aspect, such as gravity or time. That is my perfect heaven.
My hell would be like this. An endless frozen wasteland with not another soul around, your body always aches and skin deep cuts form upon your body every once in a while, and they never heal, creating perpetual pain. You cannot sleep, nor eat, nor feel anything but pain and cold forever.
