The meaning of life is to live it the best you can. Live, love, experiment, have children, and spend the rest of your days sitting back with a tall glass of iced tea complaining about the "good old days."
If you spend your life looking for some "noble purpose" to it all, you might miss half the point.

*Points* Teen! Angsty Teen! OMG run for your lives evreywon!!!!!
This has been brought up in debate at every message board and forum I have ever visited with the same “It’s what you make of it!” and (shockingly) similar responses. You want to know what the REAL meaning of life is?
To fuck.
Case, and, point.

I believe the meaning of life is to learn. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but whenever you go through an experience, you continue to go through a similar experience until you learn what you're suppposed to from it. Kinda like history repeats itself, and if you screw something up you have to do it all over again.

1. The property or quality that distinguishes living organisms from dead organisms and inanimate matter, manifested in functions such as metabolism, growth, reproduction, and response to stimuli or adaptation to the environment originating from within the organism.
2. The characteristic state or condition of a living organism. 3.
4. A living being, especially a person: an earthquake that claimed hundreds of lives.
5. The physical, mental, and spiritual experiences that constitute existence.
6. A spiritual state regarded as a transcending of corporeal death.
7. An account of a person's life; a biography.
Less than I expected.
There's no purpose to life, other than whatever excuse you make to live another day.

That's a tough question. In the simple biological sense, the purpose of life is to survive as long as possible, and to reproduce at least once during that time. Aside from that... no man can say.
ALthough I think it's good advice to just follow your conscience in living. Don't do anything you regret, and don't do anything that leaves a bad taste in anyone else's mouth. Can't really go wrong there.
ALthough, I believe that I personally was put here to make art and write stories.

simply put, i think the purpose of life is to survive as long as possible and achieve as much happiness as you can during that time.

perhaps to find out who you are, to reproduce, and die

Life to me is to learn. You make mistakes you learn. Life is also to reproduce. Life is taking everyday like it's your last and making the best of it. I live one day at a time cause who knows when it will be your last.Carpi Diem! Sieze the Day!

Not to die?
Touche :D
So are talking about life in general or each individual life? Because everyone has their own personal reason for being alive in the grand scheme of things. And life in generalhas it's own point in the even grander scheme of it all.

Life is a test, a sort of challenge. We are here to make our own decisions and learn from those decisions. When life here on earth reaches an end, we will have to live with the consequences of our actions. It's actually pretty simple, funny enough
