View Full Version : "weredar" and therian energy?

After reading some other posts on another forum, I'm curious about the ideas of soul mates, soul twins and all things similar and related. Mostly a personal question at the moment. I remembered something from over a year ago before I moved to Cranbrook. I came back from a trip which I spent an entire week with Draven(panther therianthrope) and then saw one of my mentors the day after I got back. He said he was "sencing" (whatever word you want to use for it) something pantherish. He didn't know Draven was a therianthrope as well, so he knew I was spending time with him, he just didn't know about him being a panther.
Now I don't think I have taken on any panther qualities or "adopted" it as part of me or my phenotype at all. But is it possible to leave some form of "scent" or energy traces or something on another person? Or form connections to another persons soul without being bonded to them or melding?
Quite obviously I'm not exactly sure what I'm talking about. Which is why I'm curious and would like to learn more. This incident seemed a tad....well, curious. ^_^

Everything we touch takes a part of our energy or 'scent' as you put it. It's what keeps us connected with nature and life. Kinda hard to explain but for example, in crowed area like highschool hallways, there's that one side that seems to have a one-way only vibe? That's because of all the energy directed through it going in one direction constantly. **pauses and thinks** My friend, a wiccan and a fellow Therian explained it to me before ...now I have to find her out again.

my weird and random theory is that if you could p-shift, you could tell if someone else was a p-shifter. it makes sense to me, but it's random, like I said.

I think it has to do with Auras. Sometimes you can't pinpoint things, but thats what looking, and asking questions if for. It takes practice, I guess.

Hmmm... everything has a real scent. Maybe that's it.
Am I wrong? People have a scent, no? Not only that, but types of people have a scent. I can scent people and, without knowing who it is, tell their race, gender, age, and family (if that's something I happened to have encountered before). I don't think that's strange. Do you? Maybe panther has a scent.
That, and maybe your mentor knows more than you think. That would be my guess. I think he knew you were out with panthers.

I'm not sure what panthers actually smell like, but Draven smells like candy...Usually. Unless he just had a cigarette...nasty habit. Anywho...I suppose that would be a big if on the p-shifting thing. But people do have pheremones and such. Though he's extremely in-tune to energy and aura's. But do aura's have "scents" or thier own energy signatures? ...It probably would have helped if I had been able to talk to my mentor while I was in Vancouver again.

I believe everyone's aura has it's own energy signature. I can feel the energies of people close to me, and they're all different. It's just a matter of paying attention :)

I also know the scents of my family and close friends--my "pack", if you will. I don't think scents are meant to be pleasant, but they are relaxing when you find them. And yes, I mean, scent as in smell. Everyone has their own scent. But, I think it is harder to find your own scent. But if you pay attention you will.

The human mind has been so corrupted and it's periferal senses limited so much over the last few millenia or so, that we fail to recognize these things, and that is why this subject seems so foreign to most. I am very comfortable with scent and the sense of my "pack", and I believe that is very related to my therian side.

What does everyone else think?

That's true... :never really tried to notice that before:

Everything has a scent of its own. That applies to people as well. But I think it is more likely the man noticed the animalistic habits/attitudes/abilities/mindset that therianthropes have. Some people, be it appearance or soul, seem to show their animal side. That man may just have been more in touch and noticed these things more aptly. Even if you are not panther, you are still animal. The rest is simply coincidence.

It makes me happy when I think about how everyone is special as they are different! However, sometimes certain things about people can be very much alike! I have blue-green eyes. What color eyes do you have?

It may seem crazy, but when the leopard part of me surfaces, my eyes are a light silver color. It freaks me out when I see it. Otherwise they're green-hazel. I don't know how this works or is even possible but my eyes go from being dark greenish-hazel to light, light silver. It's creepy and even my friends have noticed it before, though I tend to avoid other people when I'm like that. I'm more of a solitary person anyways. Blue. Why can't my eyes be blue and actually stay blue? I mean silver is not a normal eye color for humans or leopards for that matter!

I've learned those with Hazel eyes do sometimes change colors...Mine are green/grey/blue with gold flecks...The main color of the iris really depends on what's around me, what I'm wearing, and (according to some) what mood I'm in...

I guess we'll never have to get a mood ring, eh Moonlight?

....What was the original topic again?

Never mind...I'm going to bed...

LMAO. Built in moodring... I like that one. It's way too late at night ((or would that be early in the morning?)) for me to be awake. Gotta long day tomorrow. Going canoeing! Yay! Just hope we dun flip. Eck....

When I was little, I was told that my eyes (and my grandmother's) became grey when angry. I don't know if they're still that way, though.

(they're originally green)
