I had this weird dream the other night. Now, I would probably put this in my journal, but really, who reads them? Anyways....

My parents and I were hiking through the woods on a mountain. We were hiking for a long time (along with our dogs--I consider them a part of the family too) and my parents and the dogs needed a rest. I decided to go on ahead and scout. While I was walking I realized that I was in a dream, so I tried to shift to wolf, but I couldn't. I thought that was weird, but I thought that I could wait later and shift.

So I come upon this lake and I decide to rest before going back out. I notice a rippling originating in the center of the pond. I start backing away when a dragon shoots up out of the water. It had silver scales that were darker on top and turned white at the bottom. It also had one horn and a silver mane of fur funning down part of its back. I look at it and we make eye contact when suddenly it plunges straight into my chest. I'm afraid that I might get skewered, but somehow my body absorbed the dragon. Since that dream, I could shift into a dragon or a wolf in any other dream. Any interpretations? And please remember that this is a DREAM not real life. Oh, and it was lucid too, in case I didn't metion that before.

I think Zier means more of the 'eastern' dragon, I call them celestial, they're more of great spirits to me than the fat winged dragons are.

When I watched the movie 'Spirited Away' my Miyazaki, I noticed an odd feeling of connection with the serpentine-like dragon form of Haku, also known as the water spirit for the Kohaku River.

But, when you get into that, you step further into otherkin then traditional therianthropy, (I shift woohoo!) So. You might want to ask some Otherkin 'experts.'

That was just rambling, I suppose.

There is a very good possibility that you are both. I think you are both, but what do I know?

Thanks, guys. Where do you think I could find some experts? Oh, and yes, I did mean an eastern dragon--very serpentine, no wings, and yet can fly.

Where could you find it? Just look up Otherkin, Dragons. Its that simple. Draconics. I know of one, actually. He's not serpentine, he's the "fat" kind. But, I have yet to look into it. I think its from me stealing this one book astrally.. >_> But nevermind.

Ha! :wavey:

Here's a website, but look around after you read that. Thats about the most common form of dragon, the western dragon.

I to have had dreams about shapeshifters. Mostly though, they are that of a reptile, or dinosaur
