I think that most religions worship one god.. And the way I see it is if God made all things so different from each other, wouldnt it be safe to say that God would want different religions as well?
My opinion is, is that if you believe in a being higher than yourself ( And for those of you out there I dont mean the herbal High) then you are ok. I dont think one religion should be forced on people. They are going to believe or not believe. It's called free will. And to those who would condemn others for not conforming.. What right do you have? You're not a god of any form. ~ Kristen

Although I am not a religious person in any way, form, or fashion for reasons of my own, I am a student of all religions, and I have noticed one thing in common: the value of free will. If a deity chooses to allow us to choose our lives, then the same deity will allow us to worship them as we choose. Essentially, no matter whether one says "Allah," or "Yahweh," or "Mother Goddess," we are all saying "God."

am a student of all religions

Religion:
A set of beliefs, values, and practices based on the teachings of a spiritual leader.

There are thousands of religions like this, from globally known ones like Christianity, to small tribes in the heart of Africa. You have studied all religions, big and small, of the entire world by the age of 22? I so seriously doubt that.

I think that most religions worship one god

Greek Gods, roman gods, native american spirits, indian deities, spirits/deities of chinese and japanese, Wicca, etc... Most actually believe in more than one God. Christianity/Jewism/Catholics aren't the be all end all of religions, you know.

By the way, there's no such word as Hermitism and following normal rules of the -ism suffix, Hermitism would be the act or process of being a hermit: a recluse. Thus I fail to see how "Hermitism" as a subject applies to the thread.

I am not big on religion.. It is my opinion that so long as people believe in some form of higher being then they are ok, no matter what the name them, or how many of them there are. Like I said it is my opinion.. I was just throwing it out into the void, Some may agree others may not and I respect that. I thought I would just add another way of thinking.

Well, then how would Hermitism be considered a religion?

Please explain to me how being a hermit has anything to do with believing in a deity? From what I've inferred in the past, being a hermit was a lifestyle in which one lived on their own away from society. I could be wrong, I could be right. But, yea, I fail to see how believing in any sort of "god" deals with the title of the subject.
