View Full Version : Weird/Odd Dreams (all 'out of place' dreams get posted here)
This may be a result of occupational anxiety but I thought it was interesting especially as I normally do not remember my dreams (I would say I don't dream but from what I've read thats impossible), so here goes.
I dreamed I woke up to a full moon, I crawled out my window, which is on the fourth floor, and prowled across base toward where I work. I sat hidden in a patch of woods near where everyone has to pass to get to work. I sat for hours, I could hear cops and dogs looking for me but I just sat. Eventually I saw a car I didn't know who's it was, without thinking about it I leapt onto it, bashing in the hood. I tore off the roof and pulled the driver out I jumped off the car before it crashed. I was a beast, half human half wolf, on my hind legs. I lifted the driver up, itwas one of my nominal bosses that I worked for at a different squadron whom I hated. I let him cower in terror, I roared in his face and bared my teeth at him, a played as though I was going to tear his throat out. He passed out I dropped him and took off. I dreamed I leapt a fence to escape the police and made it back to my room. The next day (still dreaming) the cops came by work and took hair and blood samples from everyone. When I woke up I had just been discharged on a section 8 (means your too loony to stay in). Any thoughts?

On Tuesday, I dreamed that walked into the kitchen and found my brother eating a bowl of Lucky Charms. And he goes, "Did you hear all that racket last night? Those animals were in the backyard again... scratching around and growling and all that. They set the neighborhood dogs off, Bark Bark Bark!, all night long."
And I says: "I dont remember anything like that."
And he says: "And you know what the wierdest part is? You're gonna say I'm crazy... but I saw one of them out the window, and I coulda swore it was... a wolf!"
And I says, very skeptic-like: "Phf! Look, what do you think is more probable: That wolves have come down out of the forest and inhabited the suburbs of this town -unbeknownst to everyone BUT you- or that you watch too much TV and you probably dreampt the whole thing up?"
And he goes (doubtfully): "Yeah... You're probably right."
And I said: "I know I'm right." and took a bite of cereal.
Then he jumps up and shrieks: "Bwaaaah! You've got a tail!"
I leapt to my feet and there it was; a furry gray wolf-tail sticking out of the top of my jeans. And I yells: "AAAAAH! Goddamit, not again!!" With a wild flailing I reached back and snared the tail and tried to pull it off, which hurt. I was doing an agitated tip-toe dance, like a monkey on a hot plate or something, just freaking out about this tail. "Get off, you bastard!" I shouted at it. "Get off get off get off! Gaaahh!"
My brother was dumbfounded. He just gaped, till the tail slipped out of my grasp and I started running around in circles trying to grab it again. Then he almost laughed.
I pulled up my shirt and saw that silver fur was climbing from the tail onto my spine, and my sides, and down onto my legs. And everything it touched turned wolfy. When it reached my back, I hunched over and fell to all fours, unable to get up. When it got to my feet, they stretched out and turned into paws. My ears surmounted my head and turned to pointy wolf-ears.
"Don't just stand there!" I growled at my brother. "Do something!!"
He grabbed two spoons and made a crucifix in my direction.
"Something other than that, you stoodge!"
He got up and started slinking away.
"Hey!" I yelled from the floor. "Come back here! Hey! You--- AArgh!" My face stretched out into a wolf-muzzle and I couldn't talk anymore.
Anyway... I made it out of the house and sniffed around the neighborhood for awhile. I think it was funny because the tail totally took me by suprise.

A scientist from the 1950s named Calvin Hall found that over 50% of dreams contain severly agressive themes. Commiting a crime in your dreams may be expressing the disaproval of inner impulses. I think that perhaps you felt free to commit a misdeed if you were a werewolf but a part of you saw that werewolfs don't exist and therefore you were just crazy while committing the crime and not actually a werewolf...
 So profound that I shocked myself! :notworthy Bow to me! :notworthy

On Tuesday night of the past week I had a strange dream. I have a friend named Ashley whom I haven't seen for two years and I dreampt I saw everything as if things were coming from my point of view. It showed her in her room and she was depressed, when I tried talking to her it seemed as though as if I wasn't there. Beginning to pack her things I heard her say, "I cannot take it here any more" something on the lines of that and I heard her say, "I'm never coming back." I could tell it was night time by the lighting and it showed her sneaking out of her house and getting into a car. I was told I should try talking to her although I don't know..what do you guys think?

If it bothers you that much, you should talk to her. You would regret it if your dream turned out to be true. I wouldn't be too concerned about it though. Dreams are supposed to be profound and deal with issues and fears. But who knows...

Hear hear...Seriously. If you have a dream, that vivid, and it's disturbing, it's a much safer bet to check it out, rather than let it sit.
I hope things work out for you...

Well i have dreams of future events often. But most of the time it"s my future events about 80 percent have come to pass. I would talk to her and find out for certain!

Thanks you guys for your opinions, i'll try contacting her to see, "Whats up?" I think though I have a few clues of what might be wrong if there really is something wrong. Two years ago she came with her boyfriend to my birthday party and he was three years older then her, for some reason I had a bad feeling about him although I didn't want to tell her (I was afraid she would get mad basically.) I've had dreams where I predicted things and they came true like the death of a friend of mine years back.

I know this was said already, but I would take the dream serious until proven otherwise. For if you are anything like me, when you get dreams like that, they are fortelling the future. I have had dreams that my father was going to get in a car crash, and it was as if i was there watching him get into the wreck, and about a week later he did. Now, some people may not believe in the same things I do, for I am a wiccan, so in my "relgion" we believe in something called summoning. You do it in your dreams. You can summon people to your dreams, or even to wherever you are right then even if you are not dreaming, but its mostly done in dreams. Now, that person who is summoning the other person, does not always know they summoned that person, exspecially if they dont know of summoning. Summoning is something that can only be controlled through much MUCH practice. It usually only happens when you are very emotional, and you usually only summon those who are close to you. So, all in all, i am pretty much saying, either you could have dreamed of the future, or you friend was so emotional right then, that she summoned you. Well, theres my two cents, I will be leaving now. later days.

This is an wierd and reoccuring dream that I've had over the last couple weeks. If anyone knows what it means or can guess, please try to help.
I wake up, laying in my own bed. Throwing my sheets off, I head to the bathroom, turning on the sink faucet. I splash cold water onto my face only to realize that I don't have hand, but instead paws. That's when I realize I'm just dreaming. But then I look up into my bathroom mirror, starting at the feline shape as it glares back at me. I've had dreams where I'm not human, but this was different.
It felt like there wasn't just the feline-human, but my normal self as well. Not quite overlaid, but both were at the same place. It was only how I looked, and then a feeling like static in my brain and the cat was replaced by the human; another flicker and the cat was back.
I focus in on the feline for a second. It wasn't a tiger, at least not a normal one, nor was it a lion. Fur that my eyes insisted was no color while my brain called it red flowed longer than a normal feline. No mane, spots, or stripes. Ears carefully perched on top of my head perked up.
And then I looked at the eyes of the cat, but then I started to develop a headache. Staring at the mirror, a third eye in the center of my forehead opened. In both the feline and man.
I can't figure out if this is supposed to have some sort of hidden meaning or if my brain is just bored, but I've dreamnt it six times already, so I think it's important.... Thank you for any help.

I have one thing to say; Good Morning:)
I know that may not help much, but isn't it great to wake up and open all three eyes?
Kishi-Garou
09-01-2003, 12:57 PM
The third eye is a chakra, and its located in the middle of the forehead. Its used in getting spiritual information and visions like you had in your dream, and seeing more. I suppose its good that is opened up for you.
lordragoon
09-01-2003, 04:25 PM
That's nice and all, but what does it mean? It's not like this dream has made me more 'aware' or able to see. And what do you mean by seeing more? I don't even try being spiritually aware, at least not in a while. When I did attempt any of that, it did nothing. Ughhh. I guess I don't know enough about the spiritual side of life; just the mental... oh well.
And Nivek, I don't feel any different when I do wake up; excluding the general heart attack feeling you get after a nightmare.
Kishi-Garou

What does it mean? I don't know. You're the only person to figure it out.
I mean, you had those coyote dreams a while back, they were pretty.. good. It was like you were writing a book on them.
Dunno, man. But the inner vision you might be looking for is around somewhere.

Those animal dreams are normal - I'm used to them. It's dreams where I am myself that I worry about, or am sometimes who I am.
Actually, I should keep writing those... I do need a break from CoaW.

Don’t take me in this to serious, is just a guessing.
“It felt like there wasn't just the feline-human, but my normal self as well. Not quite overlaid, but both were at the same place. It was only how I looked, and then a feeling like static in my brain and the cat was replaced by the human; another flicker and the cat was back.”
Its clearly a duality. A feline and a human, two different beings in the same time-space, together but not scrambled.
“And then I looked at the eyes of the cat, but then I started to develop a headache. Staring at the mirror, a third eye in the center of my forehead opened. In both the feline and man.”
The 3° eye can mean to many things; generally a goal achieved, or close to achieve, a great knowledge gained, a new vision of life, or a new ability. I don’t know which of those interpretations fit your situation, maybe any of those.
“…… but I've dreamnt it six times already…….”
The number 6 suppose to mean false, unfinished truth, etc. Because the number 3 signify perfection, divinity, truth; and the duplication of this number is false. 3 times 3, 9 is the real multiplication, it suppose to mean balance, pure, etc. If you dream it more times it will change the meaning.

Thank you for the help, Gerulphus. I guess I'll have to wait til I dream again. But I don't get the third eye thing; I haven't had any big successes or learned new secrets. Maybe the dream is going to stop here... I'll see.

That was fast…
Maybe you’re right, and wait for another dream.
Or maybe is just an announcement of something that may come.
Or maybe is just a dream, a compound of images interpreted by the subconscious. You are the only one who can differ between them, no one else.

ERRK! Sorry. Just got caught up in all the possibilities.
What really matters is how YOU see the dream. When it comes to dreams, nothing is definite. As i've said before, Symbolism is the language of the subconcious, and in dreams, your subconcious reigns supreme. So don't take anything too literally, or too quickly. Grab it, and survey it. Don't take anything for what it is.

Yeah, the third eye chakra is really interesting...I don't know exactly how they work, but I've noticed when the GF decides to kiss the forhead, sometimes I get this feeling...Yeah. Very sensitive to changes in energy. You might want to check it out. It sounds really stupid, but if it works, it works. Take your finger, and right at the spot that you saw your third eye, put it about 2" above. It really messes me up. It's kind of like the hair standing on the back of your neck, but much more intense, much more contained...I believe Jet stone is supposed to relax your third eye. Might be something to look into if you have the means at hand.

Ya know... I've always had strange dreams all my life, when I wsa younger they were keeping me up at night, too afraid to close my eyes because THEY might be there waiting. But now...
Imagine this... I'm just out on the streets minding my own buisness, and a white windowless conversion van rolls up, the doors in the back swing open, a bunch of people burst out grab me and haul me in. Im on the ground in the middle and all around me are these guys, and they keep advanding upon me teeth dripping in anticipation for a meal, but they weren't wolven, they were vampiric. SUddenly some guy opens the door and walks in, but I never once got a decent look at the guys face. He tells them to back off because I'm HIS, and they obey. SUddendly the guy whisks me off to the top of a building downtown chicago and explains that all I see will be mine if I take it and I deserve it, because it's supposed to be that way. But he warns me not yet. He says "It's not time, but soon" HE leaned forward towards me...And I woke up sweating and shaking and I coul hardly breath. LAter on, a year afrer give or take memory capacity and I dreamt him aagain but this time he just threw me off the building top saying it was time... I remember flying and feeling powerful but not much else. I woke up again sweating and shaking and gasping for breath. Still later I drewmt of a vine that was grow outside of a theatre that was alive somehow, and I only remember blasting it with this big basketball sized blue and orange nad red "Fireball" for lack of better term... It blew up and everyone was safe, but I remember everyone kept telling me it was MY job to do it anyways...
IF anyone understands any of this, please, I feel like I have this calling and only the answering machine picks up...

HA! I lied (or I was mistaken, whichever you prefer...)! It's not jet stone! The black stones can help to relax your third eye...Not exactly what you're trying for, but it still might help.
The two most common stones for opening one's third eye is Lapis and Amethyst. Pretty much anything with a deep blue or purple color will assist in such an endevor.
Have you done any energy training? Like feeling Ki or Chi, or feeling the flow of energy while breathing? Channeling that would probably also help you focus your third eye.
Focus the energy in your hand, and then push it into the area that you saw your third eye...
I know these sound half-assed, but hey, they work for me, and I know my third eye is active.
Hope these work out better for you. Let me know, yeah?

Well ok heres what i can tell you, that you had an opening of your third eye and no one told you how to deal with it no one to teach you no one to be there for you, some deal with it better than others but for a few people it hurts or it gives them headaches it all depends on your ability to deal with sudden changes.
hope i helped shed some light for you :)

No, athan, you didn't. That snippet was just enough to lead people into thinking you know something about this, but not enough to help at all. Anyway, I'm only knowledgable about werewolf myths. This chakra stuff is new to me.

I had this dream last night where I went into labor. Except that I didn't know I was expecting a child, and even if I was, it would've been 2 months early. I remember it was night time, and I went to the hostipal, but being that no one had any record of me expecting, instead of going to go deliever the baby, the doctor wanted an ultrasound done and some other test. Something about not finding a heartbeat. I was told that the baby had a 99% chance of being a stillborn, but I so wanted it to be alive... and somehow I knew it was a girl. But I never did have the baby in my dreams. Or maybe I did... flashes of a small child, with blueish/greyish skin, unmoving... all I know is that I woke up in tears.
Anyone have any idea what this could mean?

Sounds like a fear dream to me- something you have been working towards achieving maybe? Could be something personal, or perhaps something material but important to you just the same. Not knowing if its going to work out perhaps you've a lot to loose if it doesn't- maybe its a fear of failure? I really don't have a clue actually but I don't mind pretending to know what I'm talking about ;)

Could be that the Dream was acting out some sort of hidden fear or desire. Knowing you as well as I do I am sorry to say I am sliding towards fear, the fact that no one is aware in your dream of the pregnancy suggests to me, you are keeping a lot of things you have on your mind to yourself and maby it wouldnt hurt to talk a bit more openly about them to close friends. I would hazard a guess that your current job situation is the root of this dream. Worried about whats next, where your going and will you find something you will be happy with it. All I can advise, is be positive, it will work out, just relax, and if you need to rant or talk, E-mail me ok. Take Care DS, talk soon.

i cant see how anyone would anylyze this dream cause its pretty weird.
Well i dreamt i was standing on my bed and then the wall kinda sucked me in. then there was a huge snake like thing made out of little balls of meat. i was hungry so i ate it. then i realized there were all these islands and i went to one that had a rainbow and a waterfall on it. i saw this guy standing there and i asked him where this was and how he got here. he said "well, you know how the almonds come out of the teacup? i figured out where the almonds came from"
so then i was suddenly in a forest area, except i was a wolf (yep that made me pretty happy) and i was with a guy holding a huge sword, 3 of my friends, and a poodle-sized cow. All of a sudden these pencils came flying at us, like litterally thousands of them, and the sword guy chopped them up. then i looked into a pond that just appeard and i wasnt a wolf in my reflection, i was some creature that i cant remember what it looked like. and in the pond there was a duck with a pencil in its mouth.
pretty strange eh?

It is hard to decifer....If u are studying or at school or work for editoral (you know where im going) then that would explain the pencils shooting at you, but i dont know what it would mean....As for the Almond from teacups, i think it is a riddle (dar) but im not sure what it means either....Im probably as stumped as u are....sorry im not much help....these dreams are things to meditate on.

Actually from the disjointed sequences it is more likely that the dream means nothing at all. You probably just had a lot on your mind and your brain transferred that into random images.

I had this dream two nights ago....and I think a few years back.
It started out with me in my home packing a backpack full of clothes and then it jumps to where I see myself riding a bike through the mountains (I dont know what ones because I dont live near any  ). Then its night and I come up to a railroad. But I dont cross it. Instead I turn right and a building appears (Kind of like an empty facotory really). I park the bike and sit on the ground. Then a car pulls up and it just happens to belong to my aunt and uncle. They get out and offer me a ride but when I say yes and go to get in the car it wont start. So they just sit by the building with me. A few minutes pass and my dad and cousin appear. Apparently they walked....but my cousin and I just get up and walk into the building. Its a club. We walk towards the back and come across some people that we apparently knew (But I have NEVER seen them in my life). They were being a couple of bastards so we just continued on our way. <<Dream skips>> Its in the back room. I unpack my stuff and lay down. Those guys come to the door a few days later. Me and my cousin are packing and getting ready to move on. I go to the door and look at them crossly. "Come with us." the shorter one says (Hes in a flower dress for some reason hehehe). So I follow them and make a comment to him about being smart. "I bet Im smarter than you!!" He snapped. "I bet you are..." I muttered. He turned to me. "You bein' smart?" "No." We come to the end of a hall and theres my mom and shes FURIOUS. She starts to give me a lecture.....but then the dream cut off.
This dream happened right after another one.....I thought it was kinda cool.
Its in the streets of New York at night. Im with my little sister and older cousin. I guess it was some sort of game because one of us turned into a skeleton and had to tag another person before they got to the safe point across town. It was really hazy so I dont remember much of it.
Tell me what you all think about them.....Im not really sure what to make of 'em.

I've had dull dreams occasionally too lol!
However, I think in this case perhaps your particular dream may have been symbollicaly signaling a change through a connection with others that may happen in someway soon in Waking. I had a dream like this (only I was wandering down a dusty road - why wasn't I flying? - in the desert, passed by Papa Legba - how much do you know about Vodou? - in an old farm truck, who smiled and nodded at me, and then I reached a crossroads), and in Waking life, I soon after was confronted with a choice that set me on a very strange path.
I have had very, very strange drreams, exciting dreams, dull dreams, arousing dreams...so I don't ignore any of them. Dreaming, particularly when one can develop lucid dreaming ability, can be a very great gift and tool for a variety of aspects in life.

Wow! I just woke up from my sleep, heres my dream, hope you can tell me what i means!::
I was running down a path, i knew i was running away from someone, but i couldnt see them. The path goes down the hill, and suddenly this HUGE rock starts to come up from the ground right infront of me. It keeps going up and up and up, untill its higher than the clouds. I hear this voice behind me shout "You vermin! You wont get away with that!" and this bike fell down from the sky on me,(I actually felt the bike land on me while i was asleep!) and attached to the bike was a letter. I chucked the bike off me and read the letter, it said somthing about someone wanting to kill me. So i ran around the HUGE rock, and infront of me is this guy in black, he's holding up a huge mallet, and he says with a smile, "Bye bye wolfy!" and brings the mallet down on my head! And i know i died in my dream, and then i woke up.
But the strangest thing is, i heard the man say "Drat! You may have lived through that! But you wont escape next time!" but i was AWAKE! And it sounded as if it was right next to me ear.

Hey,
In my dream last night I met a crow in a bathroom. It flew up to the window and looked at me, then I saw three feathers on the sill. The crow 'spoke' to me through my head, and told me to keep one of the feathers. The crow took the other 2 and flew away. The feather didn't look like a crow's, it should've been all black except it had an orange pattern in it. Soon I saw a pack of wolves outside looking up at me. They climbed to the window and passed through the glass. I knew that they were hungry and the lead wolf kept staring at me. I was chased outside and then I became a bird and flew up into the air. I remember practising different techniques of flying, it was weird. I wasn't even human but a bird, not a crow... a bird of prey. The wolf leader continued to chase as I flew off across the land. I kept looking down and saw the wolf snarling aggressively at me, sometimes trying to leap up. I knew that I should climb higher into the air but my human self was afraid of going too far up, I'm also scared of heights. Then I heard the wolf shouting with a man's voice, and he was very annoyed that he couldn't get me.
Does anyone have any ideas? I probably misunderstood the wolf in my dream ut I still felt as if the wolves were stalking me.
I love wolves in real life but they're always scary and nightmarish in my dreams.

Ravens, crows and vultures are a sign of judgement and flight. Visualizing these birds in a dream conveys positive preception. If you speak with birds in your dreams, you probably have some communication issues to consider.
In addition, people who you characterize as being particularly wise, predatory, or visionary, may be represented to you in a bird form- not necessarily as a bird with that person's face or head, but more of a metaphorical appearence.
The wolf in a dream is a symbol of lonilness or predator behavior. If you dream of a wolf, you are probably in a situation where you lack friendship or companionship. Another scenario may be that you feel others are preying on you or you are preying on others for person gain.

For me all dreams about wolves or werewolves means luck to me, and whatever the wolves do to me it will be a great dream for me. I love dreaming about wolves no matter what... except someone shoot the wolves but that has never happened :). My favourite dream was about me being chased by 3 big werewolves, then I got ripped appart but managed to escape in a hole in the ground, then I became a werewolf :D

I'm calling this my first nightmare, though it isn't. Usually I enjoy a good nightmare, but this one is the first one that ever woke me up, it was too much wierd I guess.
I remember that I was in high school, though I haven't been since I graduated in '98. I saw a yellow sign with black letters announceing a football game. There was this girl standing there, no one that I know, but she was standing there staring at it. I said hi to her and she said it back and continued to stare. I shrugged and went to walk on to the cafeteria and the next thing I know she's following me there. I go through the line, get my food, and go to a table, the whole time she's right behind me, like I'm protecting her from something. I sit down to eat and she eats with me.
Ok, that's just the gist of what I remember before the end. The end is crystal clear as to what happened.
We were halfway through the meal when this figure walks up wearing a black jacket and black jeans. He stands there looking at us for a minute and then he holds out a large see-through plastic bag. I can't see what's in it cuz it's filled up with red, but the girl has a look of horror on her face. So, I go around to her side of the table to see what has upset her and I see a baby, a newborn in the bag. It looks a little deformed around the face and hands. I gasped in horror at what I saw, but I couldn't stop myself from asking, "What is it?" and the girl said, "It's me." and then the baby jerked and opened up it's eyes which took on an alien shape and the black color and I heard a very deep voice from nowhere say, "No, it's me."
When the baby jerked and said that, I sat straight up out of my sleep. That's the first time that's ever happened, and while I expect no interpretations, I thought it would be alright to see what people have to say about it.

That's a pretty funky dream. Nightmares are actually my favorite kind of dream. Those are the ones I really want to figure out when I have them. My good dreams all I figure is , eh, it's a dream..way too good to be true, no big deal. The bad ones I always think " WTF did I dream that for"?? And I have to find out.
In my book there's a little smidge about dreaming of babies.
It may be anxiety related, especially if you are sexually active without wanting to experience the consequences of fathering/mothering a child.
In this case, it would be a 'morbid' situation.

It was odd, two nights ago I was watching .hack//sign dvds for about five hours (or more depending if you count the 45 minutes the dvds were) and I fell asleep. I think .hack//sign of me being obbsessed with it caused this part but I have no idea about the rest.
All right, I am standing in 'no where land' when I disapere(sp) and a laptop takes my place. The whole background goes into this crome blue like my nail polish, which may have caused that since I painting my nails that night too, but anywho, There was some odd voice in the background speaking a different unknown language. Then I heard it say Welcome, and then that whole scene dissapered(sp) and turned into this weird ocean bay. I was watching the water move, and saw a cove with a door in it's middle. I watched it, thinking it was just normal, then it opened. I heard the same voice say 'On Saturday it opens - so go through' So I was thinking it was Saturday so I swam out to the cove, and the door shut. A lot of evil little fish monsters came out of the water and killed me. o_O; So I was floating in the water and suddenly I open my eyes, gasp for breath, and see a white wolf swimming to me. Then she tells me to try again.
Maybe I'm just mentally ill. :shrug: But I still wonder if anyone out there can help out a little. I'm bad at trying to figure out my own dreams. -.-;

Which also reminds me of another dream I had. I was in a city, and suddenly I got this crazy idea to out into the forests which are convientiently placed right next to me. So when I get there, I dig a den and I plan to go to sleep in it. What is next is really odd. I notice the boy that I've had a crush on since 4th grade standing there. He sorta looks at me oddly, then he suddenly transforms into a werewolf. I'm startled but then I see that I am my wolf self as well. So we're both wolves, and both enter the den and sleep.
Still confusing, but whatever. :beerchug:

So. First of all... please exuse all wrongtypings... I'm from Sweden so English isn't natural for me.
Well, the dream I'm dreaming is usually occuring when I know it's fullmoon... But I'm not 100% sure.
In the dream I'm running along a road... crouched but still at a great speed. And to gain speed in the dream i use my hands... but the thing is, in the dream they are more like claws. I drive them into the pavement to push myself forward.
Ok, it hasn't always been at a paved road... once I ran at a running-track and had a hard time turning since I ran so fast.
Oh, many of my friends claim to have a hard time sleeping when it's fullmoon, I on the other hand sleeps very good those nights... But only if I can see the moon.

what does this mean. i was in a cave, and in it was a butifull elfmaiden she screamed. i came up and said a spell to undo the ropes that bound her. then out came werewolfs alot of them. my freinds were in it to. we fought them but could not win. then we saw a large black dragon. he laughed at us and blew his horrible acid breath at us. then i said a simple spell we were protected from his attack. then suddenly a freind named Guy Foss sprang forword and drew his sword. the dragon threw his down like he eas nothing but a toy. then my robes they changed. from silver to black. then i woke up.
in short every one in the dream had it to in exact same order what does it mean??? are we to meet death at the hands of a dragon??

It means you've played to much D&D and read too many DragonLance books.
I dreamed today,or yesterday really. I normally don't remember my dreams and lately I've only had nightmares so not remembering has been nice but this was different. I remembered short bits, flashes really.
I was walking along at night, it was very cold. I was leaning on a cane and my side jus below my ribs was wet.
I was laying on the ground staring at the stars mist hid the moon which glowed orange.
I held the cane and spoke wisely to a young boy.
The cane was black with a silver head.
I pulled on the cane's handle and a snake came out.
I limped along rough ground holding my ribs. My hands were wet and it was hard to breathe. Something was following me.
My arms were chained above my head. I was laying down and the ground was wet.
I saw a silver chain above me the sky wasclouded and I heard thunder in the distance. It was night. Suspended from the chain was a cross.
When I woke up I was sweaty even though the window was open and its about 3 degrees (centigrade). And laying on my throat on the little hollow below the throat made the collarbone was a necklace I habitually wear. Its a very small delicate silver celtic cross. The chain that held it had broken and was lying next to the chain. BUT the cross was no longer attached to the chain and the chain was piled up next to it. I got the creeps and decided to ignore it and get ready for work.

There is a sticky at the top of the forum called Dream Interpretation. Why don't you go there first, visit the site that is listed, and see what your dream there means. There is no one here that can interpret your dreams and in fact the dream described above, it's a fairy tale.
Just a dream, it more than likely doesn't mean anything (which a lot of dreams don't, remember).

My personal interpretation would lean toward a crow-spirit teaching you to lucidly fly, but I admit I have absolutely no basis for believing that other than my own flying dreams with geese. I haven't done any research on this or anything, so don't quote me! I'm probably wrong.

Did you ever had a dream that you kind of knew that you were dreaming but everything was so great, so wonderfull and beautiful that you like just layed down in the grass and relaxed, full of happines? I remember having this dream some time ago where I was like in this weird field close to the woods, there was these 2 really old barns from like the 1800s (I think they look beutifull) and I just let my self fall backwards, laying in the grass, full of happiness. I knew I was dreaming but I didn't care. The air smelled great of nature and nothing else human except those 2 barns. I have no idea of what this could mean or if I was just lucky. Did you ever dream something similar like this? Like a dream of a dream...

*sigh* Been a long while for me, though I have had soft sleep pretty recently. Which what I consider soft sleep is when you need no coaxing to awake, your eyes just flutter open and you have this warm "lovey" feeling going through you.

I had such a wierd dream last night - I dunno about you, but every so often I have what seems like a really long dream.
I wondered if this was just a series of dreams, each one should have been different but my brain just "joined the dots" between one dream and another, like some bad TV anthology program...
Anyway - this dream was bonkers. A large alien spaceship arrived over a city, and just hung there for 20 years. Then all of a sudden all our technology fails, and the aliens "attack". [Independance Day]
The aliens are feline "werecats". They hunt down human beings on foot kind of on a one to one basis. [Predator]
We try and reach a settlement, and send an ambassador. The aliens say they are carnivores - the Earths biomass will not support both us and them - they plan to trim human numbers to 5%, but not wipe us out. There is a suspicious tone that they plan to feed on humans. Some human scientists try and persuade them with help we could develop technologies to support everyone, but they are not interested.
An underground resistance builds [Dalek Invasion Earth], it is led by a band of heroes who all wield power rings much like Green Lanterns. The leader of the GLs meets with the werecats - the felines try to cut off the hand with the ring [Lord of the Rings], and end up cutting off the hands of both leaders. The werecat leader goes wild - and says he will kill all humans.
Eventually after a lot of fighting in the ruins [Terminator], the werecats are defeated, but there is a suspicion that the leader of Green Lanterns has taken on a lot of magic power, and is going mad, perhaps becoming a greater threat than the one we faced ...
It was just damn odd!

Well, a few weeks ago, my mate told me the story of Little Jimmy Cracknor. ((I live in Portsmouth!)) About how he was murdered by the ghosts of his parents, I'm not gonna waste time in telling you the story, just my dream!
((In dream))
I was inside my school, walking around by myself. The whole school was deserted, except for me, of course. I was just walking along the corridors, not really sure why on Earth I was here. When suddenly, Little Jimmy Cracknor, as I had imagined him, jumped out in front of me. Then behind him, stood the ghosts of his parents.
It seemed that L.J.C((Little Jimmy Cracknor)) did not see me, though I was right in front of him, or know that the ghosts of his parents were there. L.J.C walked straight past me, and his parents followed, holding this glowing ball of blue, black and white. Me and L.J.C's parents followed after L.J.C down another corridor, untill he stopped.
L.J.C turned around suddenly, and for the first time, saw his parents. He uttered a blood-curdling scream, which was suddenly drowned out by my yells of fear. Because L.J.C's parents had thrown those glowing balls at him, and they had gone straight through him. Not like a ghost would, now there was two large, football shaped holes in L.J.C, and clouds of smoke was pouring from them.
Then L.J.C dissapeared, and it was just me, then I fell into this black hole. And kept falling, falling, falling, falling.
((Out of dream))
Then I woke up, and still my yells and L.J.C's screams echoed in my ears. I was totally freaked out!

I think everyone grows up as an impressionable child listening to such local "horror stories"/urban myths. There was one in our school on how a German pilot had raped and murdered a nurse in one of the older buildings.
And indeed one of the student houses I lived in, the previous owner had murdered his wife.
Such stories get under your skin, and really kind of freak you out.

I had this dream a small bird flew into a pond and all of a sudden, a rock fell on it and it got stuck underwater. I don't know why, becuase I don't really care fore birds, but I was frantic so much in the dream it felt as if my heart was beating fast. I jumped into the lake and begin lifting the rock and saved the bird.
I took it home and it was my new pet. I soon found out the bird was a parrot in the dream. I dunno why it dawned on me in the dream it was suddenly a parrot, but I bagn to try and teach it how to mimic songs I whistled to it. It learned my song and I was happy, so I took it outside. It jumped on the wall and when I panicked, becuase I could not get to it, it turned around and flew away.
I was feeling sad I lost my bird and walked into a house I have never seen before. A man, who I could not see his face stuck a gun into the back of my head and shot me.
I think this is one of the weirdest dreams I have ever had.

I was a giant sandwhich and this duck walked up to me and slapped me in the face with a pickle. I then proceeded to eat the duck which then turned into a dragon. Strobe lights then came on and we started doing the Hustle while a midget with an AK-47 started reading passages from the Koran. I'm never doing acid again. :(

Well lessee here....I analyze dreams alot for myself and others...here's my insights into key elements in my dreams....
Flying-
When I'm stressed or scared and just want to run away I dream that I'm being chased and then I fly....just like in the cheesy movie "The Boy Who Could Fly" from the 80's, 'cept I'm a girl. ;) I love the feeling of escape, even if I am scared and there's a lot of adrenaline.
Losing Teeth-
When I am at my most miserable, depressed, and wallowing in it, I dream that all my teeth are falling out. It's also supposed to happen during grieving.
Crows-
Almost always, in lucid and dreaming states, I think that the crows are trying to tell me something. They always say that you should pay attention to the way the feather is pointing if it's on the ground in front of you....it's pointing you in the direction you need to go. It's a warning. Oh, and for that person who had the dream about the 3 feathers on the window sill....I've heard that description before in a dream somewhere and think it is supposed to have a specific significance. I'd definitely explore that section of the dream. It strikes me as key.
I'm sure I had more...I'll post them if I think of them.. too tired now.

I had a dream once of a carabao and stuck to his hooves were planks of wood. It dressed up like a cook and it had another plank of wood beside him. On that plank of wood was a drawing of a cook. Then suddenly the plank beside it broke and the carabao shouted or cried, I can't remember. But I remember that it kept repeating over and over. The plank beside it changes in shape, color and ambition like fireman or I don't know. That's all I remember because I had that dream when I was about 9 or 10 years old. It's really weird....... 0.o

I was more interested in the gaming possibilities this dream presented, rather than disturbed, but here it goes;
I was on the edge of a field which had been recently dug up (the farmer was still driving the tractor towards one far end of it) and I scrambled across it towards the horizon (I couldnt actually see anything on it).
When I got to the edge of the field there was like an entire colloseum sunk into the ground and something pushed me down into the main arena. My next recollection of the dream was it was night-time; the seats were still empty but there was strange disfigured humans trying to meld - I think thats the best word to describe it - into my own, to become a part of me.
I fought back and everytime I repelled them slightly a different animal would appear near me and talk to me, trying to distract me. Eventually an otter appeared at my feet and started fighting the animals while I fought the strange people.
The animals and humans melded together and started attacking the otter and I as one till we fell back and somehow I was now in a side room of some house Ive never seen before.
At that point the phone rang, and as hard as I could try I couldnt back to sleep. :(

This one is wierd, but its pretty cool:
I move to this quiet neighborhood and have to go to this new high school in Nanaimo. Now, I'm exploring the neighborhood and stuff and i run into this little girl, who looks like shes nine or something. She does the innocent little girl thing
"Hello, Im Tina, do you want to be friends?"
I go "Yeah sure."
"Are you going to the high school?"
"Yeah"
"Im the leader of the fairies to you then. You'll never catch the horses so dont try."
Im confused a bit, but i assume its part of one of her games or something and say "Thanks," then i ask "Why are you building that fence?"
"To keep out the army of the undead, the king is gone"
I chuckle and say "Bye then"
she goes "Bye bye!"
So the next day I go to the school, it is very urban compared to how quiet and picturesque the neighborhood. Every one was talking about how "The King" of the school, Brian was being a missionary on Mars and brought his army with him.
Im in the field when these two tall goths walk by I hear them saying "Now that Brian is gone the undead army can arise"
So anyway, class starts. The announcements seem very secretive, they kept talking about how we have to find ALL of the wild horses and we need to wipe them out. Basically, we spend most of the day riding around on trucks, trying to find wild horses. We find none.
The school had basically two groups: the people who were still very faithful to brian and the gothic sort of kids that wanted to raise the army of the undead and kill the wild horses... Basically take over the school and get there lord to rule in place of Brian.
In gym we have to play dodge ball always. The whole school does it and its always in those two groups and i was always put in the "Brian-ites" group. We pretty much always lose and the game is very violent. At the end of the day I saw a wild horse but didnt tell anyone. It was really a magic looking animal.
I hear rumours that they are raising the army at the end of the next day. So I start looking for Brians advisors to find a way to stop them. They give me chest full of swords and chainmail and helmates. They said when the undead come, there are two corners in the school right near eachother where the undead cant see us or come in.
So we put the chest in a corner and basically im the general. Suddenly the first undead wave comes, they are the stereotype slow zombies just they are all pink or green. Now, one thing the advisors didnt mention was that the undead can still smell and hear us! We manage to hold that wave off with our bare hands.
We knew the rest of the army was coming. Everyone was putting on armour and getting swords. They ask why I'm not and I say "Because I can turn into a cougar,"
then they go "You wont be able to in time! They are coming!"
So I throw in armour really fast and get my sword. Then the leader comes in, hundreds of zombies behind him. He looked like Sauron from lord of the rings.
"Lets charge!" i say
but the advisors are like "He cant see us, we'll be fine"
But then the leader of the undead turns to us and says "I see you!"
The advisors are still like "Hold the ranks!"
They start approaching so go "Screw it! Charge!" And so we do, I go after the leader of the undead. I realise that he is the tall goth guy in the beginning. The zombie army knocks me down, so I'm laying there, half dead. When the little girl comes in with all these other little girls. Everyone is like "Its the army of the fairies!", so the fairies attack the zombie army and i black out.
I wake up at this river. Most of the my men were there, completely revitalised as was me. Someone discovered if you walk in a certain way you can walk on water. The fairies are telling us that they healed us and stuff after the war and the undead were no more. Tina had fairy wings now.
The reason we were at the river was because this is the area was where Brian was going to land with his men. So this hokey wooden rocket ship lands in this huge pit the fairies dug. It was deep enough so the door was right on ground level. Brian comes out. he looks like a great Feudal king and way to old to be in high school(actually, his advisors looked about forty as well). The king thanks me and Tina for saving the school and then says Mars was all converted to his kingdome.
Then one of his soldiers blurts out "There was no life on Mars!"
We all look at him wierd, then i wake up.

Ok....had a weird dream last night....here it is
A cave, full of children prepared for war. Funny thing....they were all naked. Allowed to bring a few objects of special value, a kid had brought clothes and weapons. The weapons that were provided werent capable for this kind of thing in their eyes(M/f? Dunno.). Mrs. Cabble (My citizenship teacher) was giving the kids their objectives. I had a stealth mission(^-^ happiness). Once dismissed I got dressed and headed into the tunnel where I had to be.
<<dream ends>>
it confused the crap out of me.....I cant tell what it means.....
My dream aren't what u'd call plesant, but I manage. Most of my dreams (the ones I can remember)end with me with two directions and I can some times pick(not really my choice if u get what I mean)but mainly something or some one picks for me. These "dreams" as called aren't sweet-no way ,never in a million years-their...for one nightmares...and two of the end of the world or me becoming-well u can fill in the blank-but i'v never done that to my knowlage.I feel as if I'm going insane! So to release the energy I scream at school.Advice: Do not get near me if I scream-good way to lose ur hearing.Thats all I can do till I find a nother way.

This happened to me last night, it wasn't a dream, more like a 0.5 second short vision. I was laying in my bed trying to sleep. I was thinking about stuff as usual when u are going to sleep, know what I mean? When suddenly... I felt this great power going through me, and I saw a face before me and those hands with long nails on them but the man I saw was like made of electricity. He looked like he was glowing from electricity and he smiled an evil smile like when evil people are about to kill someone. It felt like getting a huge electric shock but I didn't even fastly jump of the thing, it was like my insides had jumped but I hadn't moved an inch. It's so hard to explain, I don't know what it was. What could it have been?

Being scientific *Shuders* it could be subconsciouse imagination combined with a static build up, or a subcon imag and bad food.
If you've been watching anything related to it, (i.e. magic, scary movies, wizardly stuff) it could be subconsciouse thought organisation thats flowed over.
But being a follower of Wicca I have to raise the point that it could be someone hexing you. I dont mean that you'll end up dieing or having serious injuries, but it could possibly make small things go wrong. I.e. people could act negativly towards you, hunches you might've had might not happen, you dont pick your keys up etc. Did this person IN ANY WAY remind you of someone. It could be the forhead looks like someone you work/study with. The hairstyle might be specific, or the clothes their wearing. Look out ofr people who are watching you, this may give you a hint as to who'se done it. But remember if the've done this then they will suffer also. There is a thing such as the three-fold law that magic users have to watch for.
Dont know if this helps at all but......its worth a try.
I've sort of had dreams like that, but yours was wacked, thats very interesting, but I'd be more concerned with the fact that u heard the mans voice outside of the dream. Really concerned!

heres my dream, hope you can tell me what i means!::
I`ll give it a try, but I`m no professional dream doctor. Since I don`t know you or how you feel, this is all guess work so please don`t take my word as law. ;)
i was running away from someone, but i couldnt see them.
Perhaps it is you running away from your humanity?
The path goes down the hill, and suddenly this HUGE rock starts to come up from the ground right infront of me. It keeps going up and up and up, untill its higher than the clouds.
Perhaps the foundation of your moral, spiritual, human, etc. beliefs? The rock that continues to rise is attempting to block your path, i.e. stop you from going any furthur.
I hear this voice behind me shout "You vermin! You wont get away with that!"
Perhaps your humanity speaking to your subconscious? You - the "wolf-girl" won`t get away with/overtake you the human-girl is the possible message.
this bike fell down from the sky on me,(I actually felt the bike land on me while i was asleep!)
Perhaps something relating to your childhood, i.e. a time when you did not consider/realize/feel any animal feelings?
attached to the bike was a letter. I chucked the bike off me and read the letter, it said somthing about someone wanting to kill me.
I think it`s your subconscious mind telling your conscious mind to put in check to or control your feelings about your "inner animal."
So i ran around the HUGE rock, and infront of me is this guy in black, he's holding up a huge mallet, and he says with a smile, "Bye bye wolfy!" and brings the mallet down on my head! And i know i died in my dream, and then i woke up.
Again, I think it`s your humanity trying to "wake you up." I think the fact that the guy hit you over the head represents that. In addition, I think it`s after your wolf part - not your humanity.
But the strangest thing is, i heard the man say "Drat! You may have lived through that! But you wont escape next time!" but i was AWAKE! And it sounded as if it was right next to me ear.
Again, it seems consistant (at least to me) that the target is the wolf part - not you as a human.
As far as hearing the voice after you woke up? Well, you may not have bee 100% out of the dream; that`s happened to me before.
So that`s my interpretation of your dream. Like I said, I`m no dream doctor. Others who know you better may have a different or even better interpretation.

Ok, a dream i had quite a while back, but it still kinda scares me. i can't remember every little detail at this stage, but it was a really vivid dream.
I was in a graveyard with a friend (can't remember who) and we came across a grave- readily dug out, complete with headstone, MY headstone. my name was on it and it had the years 1989-2004. then suddenly i was at someones house, i was standing beside their kitchen table, when my phone started to ring. i looked at it, but it didnt have any number or name of an incoming call. i answered it, i think it was satan. and the voice just said "you're gonna die now". a darkness came over me, and i dropped to the floor. i remember feeling paralyzed. i tried to get up and say something, but i could'nt. it was like i was still concious, but could'nt see, or move.
If anybody wants to have a shot at interpreting this for me, please do.

I've had this one dream through most of my childhood. It was all black and white except this baby blue jacket I wore. My mom and I were walking to the store, but we had only just gotten past the store right acrossed the street from my house (which sits on the corner) when I noticed that I needed to tie my shoe. When I stood back up from tying it, My mother was gone.
So I walked back home, but when I walked in everyone was asking who I was and where my mommy and daddy were.
I understand the majority of this dream, not fitting in with my family and what not, but the only thing that I just don't get is why my jacket was colored and nothing else.

chances are it was a jacket that you owned at one point in time. what it means in you dream could be many things. maybe that you were trying to put on a colorful front, so to speck, so that in that black and white world you would stand out and be noticed. kinda like back in middle school, when the new nikes came out and you HAD to have them because if you didnt you wouldnt be cool....just an idea....

A few weeks ago I had this odd dream. I don't remember any of what happened but I do remeber hearing this really hot saxaphone jazz playing. I do listen to some jazz (Richard Elliot, Paul Taylor, Rick Braun...) but this was like nothing I have ever hear before. I can only remeber a few notes of what I heard but I would love to find that song. I mean I must have heard it somewhere.

Oh yeah. On topic, I think you must have great spirituality, seeing as you have such realistic and vivid dreams.
Mine are usually clouded up. I guess i'm not meant to have treasures like that.
I almost always have vivid dreams.. I would say 80-95% of them are lucid. And if they aren't lucid, or I don't have control of them.. they eventually will become vivid.. like they'll slip into vividness, and then lucidity. Sometimes I'll have complete control of them, people, and events in the dreams, but more often it is that I have lucid about what I do.. more like real life. And then everyone else just does their thing. ... Like real life! lol. I love meh dreams.. Yea.. last night.. I had a dream about going to a store, or the mall.. and trying to pick out a purse. You know those fuzzy messanger bags? There were black and red ones, black and blue ones, and a smaller one that was rainbow squares on it. And it looked so real. I kept like picking up the rainbow one.. like.. oo.. funness.
But yea.

Nedra - Although I get all the dream sybolizing stuff, this may just be me, but I really don't believe that it is relevant to people who have very vivid or lucid dreams. Because those are usually very clear of what they mean. For people who have odd or strange lucid dreams, there could be many things that it would be. One, you have an over active imagination. (My mom says this to me all the time.. since I hear voices. And although I am certain I'm not crazy, i'm not sure if that may be it. My theory is spirits trying to speak to me in the only way they can. Through my head! But they say random things.. and sometimes show me pictures. ANYWAYS..) Another thing is a higher power.. Like something not human, or not on earth trying to tell you something, but may have to tell it to you in allusions and randomness or even tongues. And, well the third possibility, is well. Your own making of what the dream was. It probably wasn't Satan on the phone. possibily the angel of death, not sure. I try to stay clear of death situations..
well I hope that helped a little bit..

I had a pretty messed up dream. I dreamt that my right hand was replaced by a cast-iron hand that appeared to be normal unless you touched it, and then the skin where you touched it would melt away like mist. It was cold to the touch and hard to lift. This would probably quallify as a vivid dream, considering I remember other people there, and I remember it feeling like it was a lot longer, but the people were wearing gold and other precious metaled gauntlets (including a shiny red one), while I could see a scar going around my upper arm (about an inch below the wrist) at the area where my arm ended and the hand began. And when I became concious, my right hand seemed a bit heavier. If I hold both my hands up, my right hand feels like it's slowly going down, while my left hand is fine. This is... kinda freaky.
If anyone can interpret this, that would be awesome. I couldn't get anything off of the dream websites.

I had one where there were a bunch of army style people and they were made up of groups of a man and a woman, and there was this huge chamber with water at the bottom, and one couple would go down at a time. When they got down there these writhing, huge green snake like things would grab the man of the group and to release them the woman would have to shoot all these zombies that came up from the water. When I went down and my man was swallowed up I had this tiny handgun with hardly any firepower and these zombies were advancing on me, and I threw the gun away and pulled a shotgun outta nowhere....
Just so you know, I don't make a habit of playing zombie ridden games, so this is a really unusual dream for me

Wow, that IS creepy. Are you sure you were awake? Because once I thought I was awake, and my alarm clock laughed at me instead of beeping... then a few minutes later I woke up properly, it was really scary- but not as weird as what happened to you! I wouldn't worry about it though- it's amazing what tricks the mind can play.
EDIT: I don't know where in the thread I got that quote from... but it must have been a while back. Sorry about that! I'm still getting used to the layout of these forums. I'll leave it in there anyway.
Say, I had a really, really horrible dream the other night, but it seems strange that I was so scared by it. I haven't had a nightmare for a long, LONG time (ever since I started dreaming lucidly, really) but this time... I did. It was a very short one thankfully. I was in the back seat of a car, and my parents were driving down a street. There was another car in front, and from behind it, I could see the rear end of a horse lying on its back. I leaned forwards, and... I don't know what happened to the car in front, it must have disappeared or something, because suddenly I could see the whole horse. It was upside down, with its legs in the air, and the rider was still on the horse's back. The horse and rider were balancing purely on top of the rider's head (i.e. they looked like they would have done when riding normally, except they were upside down). I thought it was a road accident, and I really freaked out then, I can remember covering my eyes with my hands so I couldn't see it anymore. A few seconds later I woke up, and kept on thinking that it had been even worse, that I had seen the rider crushed under the horse, when I hadn't.
Sorry about the lengthly post to describe such a small amount of time in my dream (you don't want me to describe a full dream, because I can remember them really well!). I wonder why I got so scared of a thing that seems so trivial and strange now?
hmm,ok,this was a whacked out dream of mine...
I was walking through some dead looking valley(hell)
and this monster came up to me,now this is where it gets plain stupid
he cut me with a sword and i kept peeling down the middle,on and on,like reaaaallly long, and ever time i peeled i peeled into a new creature,i dunno what to make of it

I remember when I was about 3-4 I had this dream about me on top of a mountain many many times... Like I was up on a mountain... and it was a pretty view and I wanted to look down, so I went to the edge (a kind of mountain edge) and then I fell down and I felt this feeling like when u almost fall off your chair and then I remember like seeing myself falling but I start to fade away and then somehow... I seemyself float into my real body, in my room, and then awake! Sorta like an out of body experience...

The weiredest dream in the last year was when I dreamed I was in this house. I don't know who's house it was but there was a guy there. It felt like we were a couple or something and we were watching tv in a room. It looked like my room but it was more woodsy like. I looked out the window and it looked like the sun was setting so I tell him I have to go. He askeds why and I tell him that I needed to get home before dark or my parents would freak. he says ok and I get up to get my jacket. He get's up and walks over towards me. We hug each other and then we kiss.

I had a dream last night that was totally weird, because my dad told me about this woman who bough some bananas from her supermarket and they had spiders eggs in them:
I was wandering round my house when I saw this 4 inch spider just randomly scuttle across the floor. It was black with red and white stripes on its back (does anyone know what type of spider this is??). I thought it was a little weird but I kept wandering when 3 of them ran past me. I decided I should leave the house in case I got bitten. Of course, on my way up the road I got bitten anyway, but its teeth didn't look ordinary, it was really strange. I came back to the house later at night with Lem and we saw that the whole house was infested with these spiders, they were running up walls, covering the floors like a carpet. I asked if I could stay at her house to keep away from the spiders but she said she was going away for a couple of days so it wasn't possible. We went into the dining room and the table was in the middle of the room, and it was dark except for the doorway. The spiders were under the table, and they came running out. I could hear something but I didn't think anything of it. It was then that I was bitten by one on my achille's tendon and I turned into a spider too. Turns out the noise I could hear before was all these spiders singing about this other spider who was leading them all in a rebellion against humans... I think his name began with R. It's so annoying, when I woke up the song was in my head for ages but now I can't remember. >__> Oh well.

I've had dreams with angels and demons fighting and being told I'm the anti-christ before, Many times I have had dreams about the devil meeting him etc etc,but the weirdest dream I have to say is I was walking with some one dressed in a dark blue robe, and the person and I was talkin bout also in the back ground there was a womans voice trying too tell me somthin, but everytime she would try and talk a scream or a morbid cry would drown her out. Well I would wake up and go back too sleep and the dream would pick back up same thing just a different place, the last scene I remember, I was following the man in the desert and again the womans voice was being muffled by the demonic screams and Finaly her voice broke free and she asked me why was I blocking her out. Then I woke up in total puzzlement, What I found too be really strange about this dream is that I was viewing it from 1st and 3rd person..I dunno Thats the weirdest dream I can think of right now.

You watch the show a lot. A possibility is that you see a friend having a difference in opinion about something. The fact you viewed a show in your head means little, if anything, because what you actually see isn't what you're deeply thinking about. The point of the dream is that: a trait of your friend is different to you.
In short your brain had a cleanout. Brain: "the liking of wolf'srain; not important, I'll that aside. Ooh a memory of a differing trait about the friend, not very important - I'll put that aside too."
The result is both this remembering a different trait and this liking of the TV show (or disliking, whatever - an emotional reaction) both got sent to "dream" and portrayed themselves by joining. Some dreams can be jumbled or illogical: because they're just factors of memory thrown out of the way together.
Summary: The dream is unimportant.

How's this for a weird (and very long) dream?:
Firstly I was just finishing some kind of horse trek, we were coming up to a stables at a farmyard. Then I was in the dream version of my house (it was different) and this girl called Sammy was standing at the door. Rulok was there talking to her and I was sitting on the stairs. He didn't know I was there and all of a sudden they were kissing (btw, this girl fancies him and hates me).
Then he was walking with my best friend and he said something like "one look into my eyes and she felt guilty". I think this was about me "accusing" him of kissing Sammy, either that or about Sammy being horrible to him a long time ago. Yet again, he didn't know I was there. He said it so maliciously...
Then I was outside with loads of people from school, and we were all talking normally until one girl called sophie said soemthing that made me leap at her, throw her to the ground and start trying to kill her. They all thought it was kind of funny, like I was putting on a show until I made her bleed really bad. She ran to the others for attention, and they were all staring at me, so I backed off into the shadows. I think at this point in the dream I was a wolf, because of the way I moved and felt...
Again I was on the stairs of my house, and the front door was now replaced with a sliding glass patio door that went over two walls, it was frosted glass too. There was this small dog outside in the storm, yapping like crazy, I growled at it and then retreated futher up the stairs as the doors were opened and the dog came in.
When I got upstairs the rooms were all one big room, and it was all white. I stepped out of this door and I was in the middle of this random swamp. Some of my friends and I were walking towards this water place and we fell in. I remember the sillouette of something huge that we swam round and then we got bac out onto the shore. We walked back to the door (which had turned into a hut). I looked down at myself and I was wearing dripping wet sohos, and so was Elora. We wanted to get this big contraption that was inside the hut so we could go back in the water, and we managed to. On the way back we were accompanied by 2 girls from the playboy mansion in bikinis (I know, wtf). Lem was telling them I was bi and that they should watch out. We got back in the water....
We were walking down this street, when we saw Hilary and Ashley from the fresh prince discussing how they wanted to get into the playboy mansion, and they wanted to know if they were still pretty.
Then I was in school with my friends and we were in the pe changing rooms. All of a sudden we were in the sports hall, and practicing throwing balls. I was doing really crap, and my teacher was telling me to get better, so I yelled at her "Just because I'm crap doesn't mean you have to take it out on me!" All the while I felt this presence behind the walls of the room, it was huge and quite scary...
Back in the changing rooms, and everyone was telling me to hide the alcohol. Sure enough, I looked in my bag to find 3 bottles of it, so I closed my bag and went to go out.
I was walking home from school with Rowa, Lem, Gem and Elora in the dark when all of a sudden Rowa broke into a run. I started after her, but I yelled to her that I couldn't keep up safely because my bag was so heavy and there was a hill we were running down. She called back that I shouldn't worry because she knew the way. I trusted her and broke into a full sprint, catching up with her really quickly. I can't remember if it was spoken out loud or if I just knew it but something wonderful would happen if I got to the bottom, something to do with shapeshifting. There were these huge puddles I kept running round, but Rowa was running through them. Every time she did she changed into an animal (I couldn't tell what animal though). I was about to run through one myself when I woke up.
Just to say, I know this is all really disjointed but it's all part of the same dream...

Last night I had a really weird dream.
I was sitting out on a school lawn that I had never seen before talking with two people. One was a girl I didn't know, and the other was Eddie from That's So Raven. We are just sitting there chatting it up when music comes from all around us, no speakers in site. The song was Hit Me Baby One More Time by Britney Spears (who I am not exactly a fan of).
Out of no where students come pouring out, thousands of them, and start doing some freaky type of dance all in unison. I just sat there studying them.
Next thing I know, I'm behind a wall with a bunch of other kids, the girl and Eddie were next to me. I'm guessing we were in class and they were having it outside. Orlene from my favorite book series, The Incarnations of Immortality, shows up with her baby. I thought it was Gaw-two, but it wasn't. His name was simular to my nephew Corey's name, but it wasn't Corey.
She tells us all to pick him up and hold him and what not. Dunno what the class was, maybe Home Ec. or something. We all do it, and Eddie drops the baby. The baby really took to the other girl.
I don't get that dream at all.

This dream was odd. I was in this old building in the city. I didn't no why I was there. Sudenly my left hand starts changing. I turned green and scaly and my nails grew into claws. When I looked at the palm of my hand, I had some kind of gem embeded in it. While waiting for the transformation to continue, I woke up. When I woke up, I was still wearing my cothes from that day, my be was still made and the lights were still on. I will admit however that I had been drinking that day.

I was with my girlfriend and I looked outside and saw these eyes that growed into a blinding light. Then I saw the beast in the woods and my "human side shut down" and I attacked it. Then it hit me with a log or tree. The next morning I was chained to a tree wartorn. There was some guy in the old house and took me inside and did gave me some kind of drink and it did something to me nad the dude kept speaking a phrase over and over, louder and louder. Then I left and looked back and the house was gone. When I went home there were a bunch of vampires attacking my family and I formed some kind of energy ball that I created in my head that did something and I woke up.
Pm me if you want the details. I left the explicit content out for certain reasons.

Here is a strange dream, I had it for about a month straight, and now I have it once or twice a week..
From everyone who seen the movie "Dark City", you would remember the guys who reset the city.. the name escapes me right now.. and how they inject the people with new memories and such, and the one guy wakes up.
For quite a few nights, I had this dream that someone was in my room, and was messing with time, and trying to set me up new memories that never happened, but would seem very real.
The crazy part of the dream is that everytime they want to get me, I wake up and seem to interrupt them everytime.. but then when I mess it up, they have time slowed down until then, and speed time up to right when I need to get up.. as if there was no time for me to sleep.
Like I said in the beginning, I had this dream for a month, every night, and now I have it once or twice a week. In my own Magick Studies, i read if you wake up at night alot, it is the night trying to tell you something and they you need to pay attention..
Have any of you had a similar experiences??

I was in a meadow or something, and a large cat like a couger or something was on the other side. We charged each other tearing, biting and hiting eachother, I guess I had claws or something but I just know that I would scatch it and leave gashes. It won the fight and just left me there helpless. Then I awoke and that was the same day I saw a jaguarundi. those arent big cats in fact
Quite the opposite but its was a cool Coincidence

I was sitting round a campfire talking to someone then a random person came up to me kicked me over and put his foot over my chest and said "what are you gonna do now wolf boy?" I said "took ya long enough to find out"He then proceded to brand werewolf on my chest with redhot letters. Then the dream jumps and I'm in a cage and the guys there and he says "gotcha you little monster" I say "who's the real monster me or you?" and then the dream ends and I wake up. I have this dream 2 maybe 3 times a week now and it's starting to frek me out.

I don't know. Maybe you're dreams are a connection to a past life of yours and the memory is just now coming back.

The night before last, I had a very realistic dream about a plane crash.
It was about 8 in the evening and I was doing some homework when I looked out my window across the lake I live on, and saw a huge American Airlines commercial jet crash into the cement plant a few miles away. I screamed to my mom to come look, and then I heard the sound of the impact, like a sonic boom almost. I stood watching in horror as the jet went up into flames. It began raining steadily, not pouring though, so I hoped that maybe the rain would put out the ravaging fire. It didn't.
The flames only got worse. Then the tail end of the jet set alight the huge tower in the cement plant. In seconds a blazing inferno lay in front of me with only a small lake between me and it. Now across the lake are houses and those houses had already been consumed, i could see burning people run down to the water, flailing and jump in. The worst bit- I could smell the burning flesh.
I was scared, so I ran out into the living room and my mom and dad were already packing to go to my grandmother's house about 50 miles east of the flames. They had already pyut Mitchell and Ian, my younger brothers in the car, and were pulling me to the car. But I couldn't move. It was like I was frozen watching the fir incinerate my entire neighborhood. Then suddenly a stray spark ignites the tree my mother planted next to our porch. I start to scream in panic and run out to the car.
Then I woke up in a cold sweat.
The wierdest thing about the dream; it turn out that that night, a plane did crash, though not a jet, just a private plane. And the people inside were severly burnt by the flames.
I believe it to be pure coincidence, but odd isn't it?

Ok we have all had weird dreams. Anyway you’re about to hear a very weird one from my friend. I'll leave it to you to decide if he is crazy. His dream starts out a hallway in our school, it a land narrow one with no windows and a trophy case in it. He is sitting on a bench in the hall and two of his friends are walking by each other and seem to look like they are walking through each other, so at this time my friend stops time and walks around them to see what exactly they are doing. They are in fact walking through each other. One looks completely normal except the other friend head his sticking out of the back of his which is the only this visible of him. Now my friend starts time again and they finish. Next scene my friend is attacked by the trophy case and it is shooting an infinite supply of trophies. So now my friend goes Super Sayin and start fighting it. He destroys it by farting and it is utterly atomized.
New scene start, My friend and another are now having a contest at who can become the strongest Super Sayin. The other friend is stand by a water fountain feeling jealous about them being able to transform. At this moment the friend by the fountain says
Quite "I know" and he proceeds to turn inside out. After the implosion in a sense, the friend is sucked into the fountain. My friend and the other use a plunger to pull him out. When the friend came out he was normal again. I feel the burning eyes of a moderator on this deciding how to chop me to pieces. Anyway tell me what you think about my friend's dream.

Heh, it's a pretty weird dream :p
I had one last night that was a little random. I was in a MASH (Mobile Army Surgical Unit) and I was one of the doctors there, one of the best. Two little orphan sisters, about 7 years old, came to live with us to avoid the war, and they had pretty long blonde wavy hair and long white dresses. When I had a spare moment I would tell them things about how to deal with the wounded, the best techniques for surgery, the ways around the complex and so on. Time changed to about ten years later, and the girls were teenagers. They were in a tall tower with a winding staircase and balconies on each level. It was all run down and dark. I was standing on one of the higher levels and they didn't know I was there. They had an electric razor and they were shaving each other's heads, leaving only a strip of their beautiful hair from the middle of their heads and down a little to the back. Their faces had changed, they looked toughened, different. They took over the MASH, kept wheeling the patients in on gurneys and not letting the surgeons in. They were right b*****s to everyone. I think at one point they took rifles out of this shed outside the post-op and began threatening everyone.

Watching myself plunge through a veley. it's partly dark and then partly light. The scene switches and all of a sudden, I'm in a grocery store. And people are talking to me, saying that I was buying things for them that I've never seen before. the scene switches again and all of a sudden, i'm alone. with my boyfriend. we're sitting in his empty house or a house that i thought in the dream was his. it was pretty but the house was so large that it looked like it could touch the sky. -- if anyone can...help me figure this one out, that would be great.

I had a nightmare that I had to laugh at once I was fully awake (read all the way through please before you think I'm completley sadistic). I was upstairs and my mum came up. I asked her if there were any zombies downstairs, and she went and came back up, completly calm, and said, "yes". She went back down and stood peering round the front door, watching my dad pull up in the driveway. I came halfway down the stairs and looked over the banisters to see a bewildered zombie standing in my kitchen at the far end, and as I watched it began to walk forwards. I ran down the rest of the stairs to my mum and tried to get her out of the front door, but she wouldn't move, she just stood there watching my dad. The zombie was in the hallway now, so I panicked and pushed her through the porch and outside. My dad was there, but the car wasn't for some strange reason. I began to run like hell down the drive, but my parents just stood there talking like idiots. A zombie came from down the side of the house out of the darkness and stood next to them, just watching. They turned towards it and in highly snobbish, posh English accents they greeted it with a loud "Well hello!" Luckily I didn't see in full detail what happened next but I know the creature started eating their faces. I was too busy running like a coward all the way down my street. This being a nightmare, I found the pavement was iced over, and I had to adopt to a stupid skiing motion as zombies began peering out of driveways at me. As I rounded the corner there was a dazzling bright light, coming from some sort of truck, and then I woke up.

I had this weird dream the other night where I was having a baby. I ended up going into labor around 9pm on a Tuesday night. And I was having small contractions, but nothing major. At one point I remember the doctor telling me that I was at 4 cm dialated. Then some big emergency happened, and all of the doctors and nurses left the room. (This is about 6am the next morning.) So Im' sitting there getting kind of bored since there's no one to talk to and well, I didn't think the baby would be coming. The doctors and nurses would peek their head in every so often to make sure I was ok. Then all of a sudden around 12 Noon, I let out this big long scream, and poof. Baby. It's a little baby boy. And for some reason I named it Jake Michaels. So about 10 minutes go by and a nurse happens to pop her head in the room, and notices that I'm holding a baby. She's like, "When did this happen?" And she starts making phone calls to get the group back in there to clean the baby off and such. When all is said and done, I have a healthy baby boy. Then my ex comes into the picture ans asks what I named it. I told him, and he says, "I thought you were going to name it Xavious Scott, or Scott Matthew." And he seemed annoyed at the name I picked. I kinda shrugged and stated that the babies name was already on the birth certificate (Somehow I knew this) and that it couldn't be changed. And that was it. I got the feeling that the baby wasn't his, and I personally don't know who was the daddy in the dream.
(Note. I had this dream after looking at baby names to find something to name a kitten for a friend. Which is why I think I had the dream. It's strange how the mind sorts things out.)

I had a dram that I went to this school type place, and was sent to the dorm to claim my bed. I got lost. By the time I got there, all the beds were taken, so I slept under a bed, with all the dust. (the bedroom was very messy-clothes every where)
Next day, we're called out. All the girls go in one direction, the boys in another (we were 12-13 and it was a mixed dorm!). The girls went off and ran a long a wall, in red tutus. I tripped and managed to turn it into a roll. All the while, I was watching the boys playing 'Quidditch' (see Harry Potter books)
At the end, the 'headteacher', I guess you could say, came up to me, and said "I saw you watching the boys playing 'Quidditch'. Come to my office tomorrow, instead of this." Then he walked away.
To cut a lond dream shorter, when I went to the office, I got into the 'Quidditch' team.
My first match was in a dark place, where every moving thing (apart from us, the big, black bees and the other team) was a skelington, including the fish in the pond, and a rat. The other team were from somewhere simialar to Transilvainia, but only similar.
I don't know what happened next, as I woke up. It's a bit long, I know.

I didn't suggest that it wasn't. Usually things that have parts of movies in it is caused by watching the movie. Which is why I suggested that thread. I'm sorry you didn't find any answers there, but you could also check out the 'Dream Interpretation' Thread located as a 'Sticky' at the top of this forum.

I don't think it was caused by watching a movie, as it had been ages since I'd watched Harry Potter, and quite a while since I'd read a Discworld book.

Could still be caused by it though. Each night when you go to sleep your brain tries to sort through all that you've taken in. But then there are those days when you take in more then others. Sometimes the brain can't get through it all and it's gets set on the back burner until a lighter day when it can finally reach that point again. It's usually what causes re-occuring dreams, but can also explain some of the oddness of dreams. (Like why you have them now instead of when you first seen/read them.)

I guess...
I had another weird dream last night.
I dreamt that me and two of my friends (who aren't actually real people, I think), were going to go to France. But, for some reason, this meant we had yo have a vaccine. We couldn't have it in our left arm, as normal, because, for some reason, we were still in Year 8, and had recently had our BCGs. A piece of advice one of my friends gave me was "Cover up your BCG tightly when you have the injection".
It then skipped to after the injection, and after exams. My two friends and I were walking along a path, to a chocoalate shop. After going in, one of my friends (shoulder lenght brown hair, girl), chose a A3 box of caramel chocolates and strange stick 'rock' like sweets. I chose the same. My other friend (a very short boy. I think it was a Bartolli Baby, but you won't know what I'm talking about unless you've read 'Supernaturalists', by Eoin Colfer) The currency was called 'pieces' and the 'coin' was wooden lolly sticks. The sweet box was two of them. (Each was worth about £1). Leaving the shop, we walked some more. I commented that the shop keeper must have but the chocolates in a microwave, other wise the caramels would be frozen. I ate a caramel, then two stick sweets, a brown and white one, and a green one. Passing a tree with green and reddish-purple oval fruits on, the Bartolli Baby started trying to jump up and eat the reddish-purple sweets. He got a few, then realised there was larger reddish-purple ones at the bottom. He'd just passed a slightly mouldy one, when I woke up.
Sorry about the length. I was wondering wether anyone has had a simaler dream? No? Yes?
