This is an old story, but I've been thinking about it lately, and I thought the denizens of the new site might like it.
I was meditating one time (which may or may not influence later events)... and then that night I had the most lucid wolf-dreams I had ever had up to that point. There were five complete ones... very engaging. I dreampt that I was a wolf, running around my neighborhood and doing the usual wolfy things. I dreampt that I was eating something...
But the point is, my alarm clock went off and drew me out of that last one super-fast. When I woke up, I was growling and biting my own forearm. I mean really going at it for a good five or six seconds. Broke the skin open and everything... everyone thought I'd been in a fight with the dog. I growled at the clock, too, before the sensation of watching myself from within abated and I was able to get up.
So that was weird. Has anything like this ever happened to you?

Once but only once.

How often do you hurt yourself?

Dayamn! You must taste good! That is very canine!

The closest experience to to that I've had was the nightmare that this big bee-thing was biting my head repeatedly. While shrieking for help in my sleep, I was banging my head against the back of the bed.

Heheheh. One time I dreamed I was standing at the top of the hill, and the hill was covered with these little plants that had the heads of pirhanas in the middle. And I fell down the hill, and the fishplants were all biting and snapping at my back, and I was like "OW! Sharp!!"
So I woke up and my cat was on my back, just clawing the living hell out of me for no reason. And I said "BWAAAA!!" and swatted him off.
It was funny though.
