Looks like the situation in Iraq is becoming ever more volitile!
Do you think it will come to civil war?
Do you think it's time to just pull out?
Could this have been handled better?
What do you think should be done?

Q1:Yes
Q2:No you can't destroy a country then pull out when things go bad

This is almost certainly going to become a civil war and our lads are right in the middle of it. However, we're there now and can't just pull out and leave them to it, that's how we got in this mess in the first place.
This should really have all been sorted out back in the first gulf war, if Hussein had been removed then, there wouldn't have been half the problems we're having now. But sadly hindsight is 20/20 vision as they say. Our options now are pretty limited, and not particularly pleasant. Either leave our guys there and watch them die, or pull out and inspire further hatred against the western world by doing so.
For the record I do believe that Hussein needed to be removed, but the reasons we went to war over were utter tripe. It's about time the politicians had the stones to say "sorry we made a mistake".

You know he said that he is not going to rescue four hostages. You know that's just going to make the Iraqi groups get more people until we see it as a problem. Hmm...
I don't think that either sides even know what they are fighting. It's costing us more then most wars in the past. I don't know if it will come to a Civil War.
I do think it's to get our troops out of there. The one thing is...what if they come here to finish it. Do we really want out home to look like theres? No, well not me anyways. Pulling out has many ups and many downs. Take one step forward take two jumps back.
This could have been WAY better handled a long time ago. When they had signs and warnings they should've acted upon it. They should've also told us about the problems along time ago instead of watching for this to happen, losing so many more people, and turning this time on earth into a depressing shock.
Now I don't know what should be done. I think to much has been done now to undo it. I think all we can do now is support the troops, and demand answers. Also vote. I wonder if people will vote a war-time president out of the white house. Take a man whos dealing with it out and put a man whos just been following it in.
I also think that Bush should be fighting or doing something instead of being with his family on his beautiful ranch in texas. The troops he sent over there can't do that, so why should he be able to. Regan was with the people. When they could've have heat, Regan didn't have heat in the white house and neither did anyone on capitol hill. I don't see it far while we sit in our warm beds they sleep on rock hard floors. Bull shit!
That's all I know to say.

That was the problem with Bush Snr - when there was trouble he would be off fishing and making light of it. I suppose he thinks its giving the impression "its buisness as usual and its all under control" - but really its giving the impression of not caring.
Problem is people want a leader like they see in Independance Day, Air Force One or 24. When bad stuff goes down, they are there on the frontline. Instead on September 11th, when there was trouble, he headed straight for a bunker.
My basic problem is I cannot trust a war monger like Bush, who himself avoided his countries call and had his father use his influence to get him out of the Vietnam War.

Agreed and also I don't think the war on terror as a real war and as such bush not a wartime leader.

Well the situation looks to be getting worse.
I would love to understand why any Iraqi people after suffering for so long under Saddam are so keen to throw away peace and follow some of the hatemongers who have sprang up.
There is a lot to dislike about Bush. But surely life under some temporary occupation by America is vastly preferable to life under another dictator like Saddam?
