These are various games that measure your philosopical abilites and stances. I found them quite interesting and entertaining.

Enjoy!

Enjoyable, kept me entertained through a normally boring period.
Interesting how they refer to God as "she".

Try this on for size:

In the "Strange New World" game they focus on sensory perception as being the fundamental method of identifying reality, and shows bias that if this sensory perception was fooled you'd have no way to tell between "the Matrix" from reality, or even a dream from reality: because you are aware of dreams only in retrospect:

They forget about lucid dreaming. In a lucid dream state the mind may have sensory perception. Touch a tree in this dream and you feel the bark under your fingertips, you can smell the flowers and feel the breeze etc. And you are fully aware you are actually dreaming. This also works with pain; if you are hurt in the dream you feel the pain as if it is real and all the physical laws may apply (although with practice these lays may be bent or broken such as in the Matrix film). Even in the film they base their game upon; some characters were aware that the world around them was not quite real (mentioned by Neo and Trinity).

There is also great negligance of the fact that technically speaking science has not fully identified exactly what a dream is: and there is no undisputable evidence that even during the dream you perceive it as coherent. One theory behind dreaming is that it is simply sorting and processing information gained by logical reasoning, analytical assessment and sensory perception throughout the waking time to more effectively discover solutions to problems or work through concerns and worries (hence the term "sleep on it"). Psychological studies and surveys show this. The dream you visualize is generally considered random byproducts of the processing. Think of this analogy: you are trying to organise a particular type of item or problem: which is more effective; putting any current obstancles or junk out of the way, or trying to solve the problem or organise a particular item with the obstacles distracting you? Personally I choose the former and according to some psychological theories this is what the brain does: It simply shifts the "junk" out of the way and what better place than the blank visuo spatial sketchpad? So, it shifts the junk to the sketchpad and thus those images, concerns, distractions to the brain's current processing are what you see in your head during sleep: hence a dream. This, of course, has flaws - but it seems a logical explanation for a majority (but not all) dreams.

So why do they claim so "matter-of-factly" that during a dream you experience it as being coherent?

If the brain can identify between the sensory perception that can be attained in a dream as not being real: why not during this "Matrix"? Yes it is stimulating all the right senses, but then again so does the brain during lucid dreams. I find that a great flaw to the game - because there is no evidence it was considered. Their other games that I have played seem logical and fine - except this one game seems filled with negligance of the matters they describe in the game.

They claim that there seems no way to identify the difference - Major flaw.

All their claims on dreaming - Incorrect completely.

To the designers of this game: I pity them. They have never had a lucid dream, or an incoherent dream (whilst dreaming) or coherent dream (in retrospect)? I find that a great shame, compared to me that means they have been limited to roughly 10% of all and any dreams I have had in my 19 years of life. That in my opinion, is a great shame, and proved a fundamental flaw in their theories presented in the game.

There are more errors in this game, but to discuss them is being overly "nit-picking" and this is quite long enough already.
