When wolf talismans move at night...

I've long considered myself human in form, wolf at heart. I'm a wolf blessed with sentience but planced within a human body with human quirks. It's a blessing and a curse, as my human delights conflict with my wolf beliefs.
Recently I have been wearing an alabaster wolf in a small bag around my neck as a token of my wolf spirit. I wear it every day, to school, around the house, when I play on the computer, when I work out, when I'm in band... Always. Last Saturday my band (King HS of Riverside, CA) played at Disney California Adventure for the ABC fall lineup preview. After the long, tiring day, I got hom at 11 and fell asleep at 12, putting the necklace at the very top of my bed headboard.

When I woke up for some odd reason at 4:05 am, it was around my neck again. :eek:
How the hell did it reach my neck when I had obviously not left bed?

What could this mean? Is it a calling? Is a message? Is my wolf spirit yearning for freedom?

Whatever it was, it's freaking me out and intriguing me at the same time.

To answer the thread makers question i can say i dont know. i have a wolf amulet to a wolfhead with a hammer in its mouth and i take it of evry night because i cant sleep with it on i feel less tired with it around me neck. but it often happens to me that i wake up with it holding it in my hand or sleeping with it next to me.

I wouldn't worry too much about the wolf talisman, KingParliament. I've got a dozen different wolf rings and necklaces and talismans and whatall, and I can never remember where I've put them. I think you either: Forgot that you did NOT remove the necklace, and so never took it off, or... got up in the night and put it on, then didn't remember doing so. Or you did it in your sleep. I howl in my sleep sometimes... so you never know.

Does not shock me, probly means that something was coming and it was going to protect you, or felt the need to be around your neck. If it appears on your neck, leave it there. It wants/needs to be there.

Well I dunno about that, but at the end of last school year I kept having robins near me. Like I had a spirit animal or something. Everytime I'd look out a window, a robin would be on the grass looking at me. Even at home, or in the car ... it was like they were following me... or maybe protecting me. I don't know. :shrug:

I know how you feel. This silver pendant that I bought at a furry convention (don't laugh, I've found a great number of shamans, spiritualists, etc. there I am very close friends with now especially those that are weres) seemed to have called me I guess. I wear the pendant almost all the time (though not while in the shower, as I still have a non-silver chain, but I do wear it when sleeping). Some of the shamans and such I know might have said there is a "guardian spirit" in the pendant, but I do know that I feel rather empty if I am not wearing it (I left for someplace once, and just didn't feel right), and I CANNOT lose it under any circumstances. But that's my two cents on it. Woof.

How long have you had the talisman and do you put it back on right when you wake up every morning?

See, right when I go to bed the last thing I do is take my shirt off and fall in. Now I've been doing this for years and sometimes I wake up with my shirt on and I wake up like o.O So what it could be is that I'm so used to the habit I thought I took my shirt off but really didn't.

Secondly, right when I get up I put my shirt back on since its usually right there next to me because I tossed it there. I've been doing this as well for years. So it could be just a habit that you've been doing for so long you might do it in your sleep.

But, if it really did move on its own then thats awesome. =D

You know, I very much doubt that wolves watch the moon all night, or even howl 'at' it. This seems the product of human ideas to me. Are you a hollywood wolf trapped in a human body?

Things happen, but the reason may not seem as important to you sometimes. The reason may just be as random as you doing it yourself and forgetting, but it may hold a different meaning... this might sound to a person like random words, but it is a warning to watch everything that happens around the world and explain stuff for yourself, for you might not know what could happen on Earth today. I believe that if something magical happens to you (an example would be the first post here), you are the only person that can explain the phenomenon and the reason behind it in full detail, and you must explain it in full detail or you will forget or go crazy about it.

I have a cool necklace thingy. It has three wolves running on it. When I have a headache or stressed or anything, I make sure to put it on 'cause it makes it all go away. I feel better. I think it calms my wolf in me or something. So cool :) . I even sleep with it under my pillow.

You should go to a Bookman's near you. Thats where I found mine. I'm so cheap. I also have wolf stuffed animals. Four or five.
