At the moment, I think no. I like to think that we go onto a higher plain of existense to continue our life and so on. Punishments will probably exist when you move up to the next one sort of like purgatory if you treated people etc badly.

Every been in a Friday meeting where you just know that you're not only going to be putting in a lot of overtime over the weekend, but that you tried to prevent it and could do nothing? Now, add in unpleasantries such as broken air conditioning, a concert you were about to go to, ect.
That's pretty close to the definition.

On a more serious note, no. I don't believe in heaven and hell because human souls kind of disagree with my view on life. And the balances would seem a little one sided - why go to heaven with all the beggars and babies when you could have the company of kings and whores in hell?

Hm..I don't really believe in hell. But then again, who knows. I mean it's not like I experienced death before. but for those who believe in life/after death..who knows. I could've been Queen Elizabeth for all I know. There are many beliefs and to me, Hell isn't a huge belief for me. I kind of believe it, but I kind of don't.

i like the idea that was presented in the Sandman Comics. Where you go after death is all based upon what you believe. No one judges you, you judge yourself. If you think you were an awful person in life who deserves punishment, that's exactly what you'll get. If you believe you lived an honorable life and deserve to go to Valhalla, then you well. Heaven, Hell, Hades, Valhalla, Nirvana & etc., it's all based on what you believe and how you judge yourself.

back to reality... I have no idea what is after death, no one will. It is the greatest mystery in life, the end. And if it even is the end? was there even a begining? No one knows and yet we kill each other because of our differences in belief upon that one question. funny isn't it. If there's a god, he's got a real cruel & morbid sense of humor.

Things will always change on the journey of you life and one day things will get better and one day things will get worse. Hell is a place where nothing can get any worse. And one day every person will get there just like every person will get to heaven. it is just the way it is. things always change and every thing will happen. So yes I do believe in hell
