I didn't want to post it on the Christian post, because I wasn't sure how many of you had forsaken it. But I am a Christian. I was raised in a Christian home, but had turned from God, and Christianity about 3 years ago. But I had a very personal encounter with death and God that started a cycle of learning and understanding that I had never had the inclination to find before. I had turned to Wicca before, and even Buddhism, but I didn't like what i felt or saw. And also, a lot of you made comment on the evils that Christians inflicted on others in the name of God throughout history. All i can say is get over it. That was a long time ago. It's as pointless as blaming poverty in some black communities on whites, because of slavery 150 years ago. Sure, those Christians were wrong, but the whole church was corrupt then. It was all about power and money then. It's not like that now (except for maybe TBN.) So stop irrationally blaming today's Christians for all of that. It's very ignorant of you, and a horrible excuse not to like Christians.
On another note, i find it funny how only European cultures made Werewolves evil. Besides the Norse. Native Americans had a certain affinity with wolves. Notebly the Plains Indians. And the norse believed the Beserkers to be great warriors, and although shunned, they were not considered destined for "hell". Also, when you guys say you believe in werewolves, do you actually believe that you change into a wolf, physically and spiritually? Or do you believe it's not a physical thing?

Post in the godamn Christian post. Making a new topic when there is already a topic about what you want to discuss is immature, and only demonstrates a desperate want of attention.

WrayWolf, please don't be rude, he/ she gave an explanation as to why they didn't post on the other one, if you have a problem with the post report it to another moderator.

I really don't believe in the physical transformation.

I hate to tell you this but Christians still commit atrocities and death in the name of God. Ever hear of the minister that killed the doctor because he was against abortion and abortion is against god? So he kills someone and justifies it by saying it was for and in the name of God. Oh and by the way, it's ALWAYS about power and money! You really need to do your homework before you start bashing the non-christians. Don't get on your highhorse and act like we are christian bashing, those of us who aren't christians stated our point of view as to why we don't worship your God. I respect the fact that there are many different religions, just don't expect me to have faith in your faith. That pretty much applies to everyone here.

In all seriousness, as long as people have an excuse, they'll do anything they damned well please. It's not Christianity itself that kills people, it's the braindead people that decide to interpret it their own way. The same could be said of all religions. Even those people who are atheistic have their own excuse, "Hey, I don't believe in anything. Once we die, we're gone, so I'm just going to do my thing, and that's that." So, in all honesty, to bash anyone for what the believe is really besides the point. The only thing we can ever bash someone for is being hypocritical...And we're all guilty of that one.
I mean, hell...That's human nature itself.

Yeah I know Kaz but it irks me when people try and bash anti-christians and don't do their homework first. His/her statement was out of line. I don't see where anyone gets off telling others what, how, or why they should worship and what religion to be. And if i wanted to hold a gridge for a few centuries then that is my right. I come by it naturally, I'm a Scorpio :D

Forget women, Hell hath no fury like a Scorpio scorned. I'm one of several Scorpios in my family. Yikes. Anywho, in the name of God or whatever else, people do do some really messed up stuff. Personally, I always thought it was worse when someone who was like you, did something unmentionable. For example: I HATE it with a BLOODY PASSION when other christians act maliciously, even if it is just a sneer at anyone else's beliefs. These people are hypocrites. A true christian would not do these things and for anyone who has ever been scoffed at by a christian, I side WITH YOU. It's like having a family member that is a black sheep, you know?

Aries can empathize, at least... :beerchug:
Lycan, at the very least, you're well educated about what you're gruding about. So many people just hop onto the bandwagon, without a thought or a care in the world, as long as they belong...
It's time to wake up, people. I'm not asking that you change everything you believe, but I'm asking that you at least question some miniscule aspect of it, at the bare minimum, before you can claim that your beliefs are correct. Seriously. Go outside the box, already. A lot of people regard Thomas as the worst of the disciples...Personal ly, I think he was the best of the bunch, because he wasn't taken on the whim of rumor. I mean, hell...I'm a hardcore follower of Christ, with a lot of refrence with the Buddhist/Eastern ways of thought...And I believe I'm better for looking around, taking stock...I can defend myself better, and hell...I learned something...
The entire thing is, while it's good (IMHO) to believe in something, don't ever believe blindly. It seriously defeats the purpose.

First of all, i never bashed any non-christians, because i don't believe i have the intelligence or the rank to do so. I simply gave MY reason for choosing Christianity, and told you my disgust at how I get blamed for what a bunch of corrupted "christians". Anyone that kills in the name of God IS a hypocrite. I agree. I never ONCE in my post said that Christians today don't do things wrong, or commit atrocities. though. Real Christians wouldn't. And no, it isn't all about money and power these days. If you can honestly tell me that my best friend that died last year doing missionary work in China was doing it for the money, then you have been sadly misguided, and it is you who needs to do the homework. You contradicted yourself to many times in your reply. Telling me to stop bashing non-christians (which i never did) while at the same time, you were bashing my people. BUT, i guess that's your right, and i have to respect that. You will disagree with me, and i you. It's pointless, really. This post is kind of pointless, just a lot of rambling. But i think the point that i was getting at was that i never did bash non-christians, just expressed my dis-like at being put into the same category as these murdering hypocrites. And i was right. It is ignorant of anyone to do so. It is very ignorant for anyone to label all blacks as being drug addicted thugs, or claiming that all Muslims are right-wing extremist, out to kill all americans. Sadly, there are people out there thinking like this, and unfortunately, you struck me as one. But i guess it's alright to bash Christians in todays liberal society. But by-God don't bash atheists or buddhists or muslims.
Aight, im done. I apologize if i offend you, but i was also deeply offended. Nobody can respect each other anymore
And if no physical transformation, what kind of transformation do you believe takes place?

I assume that you can read. Your words above seemed like a direct bashing of people who do not believe or agree with christianity. You made a statement that said that "we" blame today's christians for past crimes in history. I simply remarked that crimes committed by christians are not just in the past. I also never bashed christians in my post, I never said that all christians are evil and must be destroyed. I never even hinted that I have a problem with christians. My words were "I respect the fact that there are many different religions, just don't expect me to have faith in your faith. That pretty much applies to everyone here."
You may not have intended to offend someone but I found your words to be a direct attack to the non-christians that posted in the other "Christians" thread. You even took your post out of "Christians" in order to prove your point about those who spoke against christianity.
I personally don't care if you are a christian, I don't care what god you worship, and I dont give a rat's fat arse which church you belong to. You just keep it on your side of the fence and don't try to force feed other's your beliefs.

Don't want to get into this fight because I get VERY annoyed with Christian fanatics that put down every other human being on the planet just because they follow another faith so, my comment is:
I'm a Scorpio too, Lycan! We SO rock! :buttrock::beerchug:

Aries here!
First off all of christian doctrine is screwed up because way back before when the Catholic church was the only church, the church with held certain documents and even certain parts of the bible (Gospel of St. Thomas).
