Never mind the Kerry:Bush face off, this is the vote which really matters. Which President from the realm of TV. movies and comics would you really like to install as leader of the free world? ;)

1) Greg Stilson: The Dead Zone [Martin Sheen]

Pros: The President of low taxation.
Cons: Starts World War Three is a psycho rage.

[Martin Sheen later becomes President again in the West Wing]

2) Richard Nixon: Who Watches The Watchmen

38th president of the U.S., from 1968 on. He was the first president to involve Dr. Manhattan in domestic and foreign affairs, leading to a nation-wide prosperity and victory in Vietnam. This led to an amendment repealing the 22nd Amendment, allowing him to serve unlimited terms. His use of Dr. Manhattan in Vietnam led to the anti-mask movement.

Pros: Hey in this timeline he won Vietnam!
Cons: Second only to Greg Stilson for “itchy trigger finger” and wanting to send us all to hell in a handbasket.

3) Richard Nixon: Futurama

Won the election in the year 3000 by catering to the robot masses with his shiny new body.

Pros: The man to get a-head in politics.
Cons: Waged war of aggression against the Balls, spent all of Earth's money on a bad-ass gravity pump and tried to kill all robots on Earth.

4) James Marshall: Air Force One [Harrison Ford]

Pros: This guy HATES Nazis.
Cons: Bit of a scruffy looking nerve hurter by all accounts.

5) Tom Kimball: Captain America [Ronnie Cox]

Pros: This guy fights side by side with Captain America, and has a hell of a right hook.
Cons: A little jinxed with technology. Don’t volunteer for one of his ED-209 demonstrations.

6) Thomas J. Whitmore: Independence Day [Bill Pullman]

Pros: Leads his country to war against the alien scum of the universe from the front line.
Cons: First he tells people in New York, Washington and Los Angeles not to panic minutes before they’re nuked. Then he tells his dying wife the doctors say she’ll pull through. Can you really believe this guy?

What really worries me about this is the fact I feel I could defeat George W. by just grabbing a shovel and heading down to Nixons burial site.

Think about it though - those pesky terrorists would have a hard time knocking off a guy who was already dead ...
